Questions & Answers
Yes, I'm 69 years old and have had no issues.
It has a dark charcoal color to it. Frame that is almost anthracite in color. Black mesh is used for the seat and back.
Mine were a tad too SMALL - I had to go to the hardware store and buy four new ones and then use spacers because the store didn't have the exact size, but once put together, it's a fantastic product.
I added cushions to it, but I'm not sure it's as comfortable as I'd like; I'll try removing them to see which is better.

So I was looking for something that I could use. My fiance suggested that I instead spend the money I would have spent on a birthday present for him on something for myself. What a lovely gesture. As a result, I was looking for something special. I've been thinking about getting a glider for the balcony for a while now, and I can see myself relaxing out there. Starting to look for one was a thrilling prospect. There are so many to choose from, and the most important thing for me was that it be extremely comfortable. The charcoal gray color was appealing to me, and the material appeared to be comfortable enough to sit on for more than a few minutes. I took a chance and placed an order. My fiance put it together for me the next day after receiving it, and I couldn't be more pleased. It is EXACTLY what I was looking for. It's a great size, color, and much more comfortable than the one I was wearing before. He said the instructions for putting it together aren't great, but because he's good at this kind of thing, it only took him 45 minutes. Take your time and make sure you have enough space to spread out the pieces. Make sure they're facing the right way and putting it together shouldn't be too difficult. It's well worth the money, and I've already had a lot of fun with it.
The silver paint, which is obviously of poor quality, is peeling in a number of places. We paid $170 for this and it was of poor quality.
Amazon has been the source of my greatest disappointment. I noticed paint bubbling on one of the swing arms two months after I bought it. This swing was protected from the elements by being undercover. Following my investigation, I discovered that the metal had not been properly cleaned or prepared before being painted. I also contacted ProductAuthority, a third-party company, to request the item be returned. I went into great detail about this issue, and their response was that I had not requested a return or refund within the 30-day period. To file a claim, I was instructed to contact the original manufacturer (rather than ProductAthorty). "Made in China" was the only thing I knew about it. With that information, I'm not sure how I'm going to get back to manufacturing. I even wrote letters to Amazon's corporate office and the Washington State Office of Customer Service and Appeals, including photos. Both letters were returned without having been opened. It was a huge let down. I've always believed in Amazon's ability to handle return issues, but this was absurd. At this point, it's all about principle. DO NOT BUY THIS ITEM AS THE PRODUCT WAS DEFECTIVE BEFORE I RECEIVED IT, AND THE DEFECT GOT WORSE WITH TIME. To ensure a good product, the manufacturer must have very poor processing, as evidenced by the photos I've included. Keep in mind that this was two months after receiving the Outsunny 48" Outdoor Patio Swing Glider Bench.
Unlike many others, I had no trouble putting the bench together and have been enjoying it on the patio for the past six months. Unfortunately, the bench's middle support, which was welded to the outer frame for some reason, snapped at the weld point less than a week after purchase. At the time, the bench's total weight was around 300 pounds, and it wasn't rocking. However, up until that point, I had a lot of fun on this bench.
In about 25 minutes, my husband assembled this glider - Each component was well-matched. We purchased the cream glider, which complements our dark wrap perfectly. all around the porch The glider's description claims it can support 440 pounds, but that might be a stretch. There should be no more than 400 people in the room. My husband weighs 280 pounds and stands at 6'5" tall. I'm 140 pounds, so 420 is my weight. When we sat on the glider together, it moved slowly. When I sat alone on it, however, it glided effortlessly - It's also very cozy. We'll be entertaining guests on and off throughout the summer, so we'll see how well it stands up to a lot of tush traffic!.
I bought this to replace my swing, which had been on its way out for a year and a half and I had finally given in and replaced it. "Perhaps I should have paid more for the assembly," I thought as I read the reviews. "However, it turned out to be relatively simple. " I did need a second set of hands for about 15 seconds to hold the bottom in place while I secured it with the screw, but it took me about 2 hours to put it together. It would have taken less time if I hadn't been one of the "instructors;" smuctions" people, and I messed up twice, having to take everything apart and reassemble it correctly both times. br>br>In general, I think this will end up in my front yard; it's nice, but it doesn't replicate the swing motion that I prefer; however, it's very comfortable, and I can see myself reading or thinking about the meaning of life on it.
Take a chance. I'd given up hope of finding a glider in a store and decided to take a chance on this out of desperation. It came quickly and looks exactly like the picture. The instructions, like other reviewers have said, are a bit of a joke. However, if you've done some self-assembly before, it'll be a breeze! So far, it appears to be sturdy, and it appears to be superior to the other options I was considering.
To assemble the bench, I used vice grips to bend parts and hold them in place. I've worked in manufacturing for over 25 years, and the fit of these parts was shoddy at best. However, it appeared to be a nice bench once it was put together. I didn't notice rust stains on my deck until I noticed them. Water is apparently getting inside the tubes, which is causing the rust. I was dissatisfied with what I had hoped would be a nice addition to my deck. I'm going to give it a two-star rating. The cat enjoys sitting on it and is unconcerned about the rust (the cat gave it a 4-star rating). stars).
