Questions & Answers
The seat is 42" wide, with an inch or two of space between the arms. I'd make two cushions, each measuring about 20" X 12" or 14".
My porch is 69 inches wide, 9 inches deep in the back, and 31 inches wide in front if that helps. It's not a lot of space in front, but it's enough for us.
The glider's base is 60 inches wide, and the distance between the outsides of one arm and the outsides of the other arm is 52 inches.
On the glider, there is a 600-pound weight limit.

This glider is a personal favorite of ours. It was quick and easy to assemble. The Lakeland Mills are well represented in our collection. It's likely that some of it is over a decade old. We like it a lot. It's comfortable (you can add cushions if you want), and we don't have to worry about it except for a good spray down every now and then. It's also nice and heavy, so it won't blow away in the wind. We didn't do anything to it except leave it alone to age. I'm sure I'll be purchasing more.
This was bought by mistake. It's true, as ridiculous as it may appear. I was looking at it, thinking about purchasing it someday, and I wasn't paying attention when I accidentally clicked my "One Click" purchase button. Worse, I didn't realize it until I received a message stating that it had arrived. I confessed to the seller and they graciously offered me a price. I could either return it and cover the shipping costs myself, or I could accept a discount on the item. I weighed my options and decided to keep the item after reviewing my budget and rearranging my belongings. I'm glad I did a few months later. It's a sturdy, relaxing fixture in our backyard, and we frequently find ourselves gliding on it at sunrise and sunset, reading or simply chatting. It's one of those purchases that makes a house feel more like a home. Customers appear to be unable to purchase this item with a single click. But I'm glad I did it by accident.
This glider is fantastic. For our new fire pit, we got two chairs and a glider. When gliding, it squeaks a little, but I'll see what my husband can do about it.
The product was excellent, and when a part was missing, they sent it out right away. Staining is simple, and the structure is sturdy.
Please take your time. There's no need to hurry if you don't want to. Before you screw everything in, double-check that the pegs are in place. because it's a great gliderbr>br>(added photos showing where I rushed and had to go back and hammer a peg I forgot in, but it was easy peasy and it fits perfectly).
) but it wasn't too difficult for them to put it together. It looks amazing on our front porch because we live in a mountain home with a rustic feel. It not only looks great, but it also glides so smoothly that it's difficult to imagine us being anywhere else when we're at home. We loved how it was made in America and how affordable it was! This is a product I strongly recommend!.
Under the pergola, it looks fantastic. But, to make it last longer, I'll probably seal it up soon.
