Overall measurements are 63 inches long, 26 inches wide, 23 inches tall, and 20 inches from the seat to the top of the back. This 5 FT GLIDER is constructed of fade-resistant POLY LUMBER recycled lumber with a STANDARD BLACK FRAME and a slat color option.

It comes 80% assembled - all of the slats are ready to be screwed to the back and seat. Connecting the back and seat, securing the arms, and putting the base together are the only things that need to be done.

The slats are screwed, not stapled, to the frame, which is held together by bolts. All screws and bolts are made of stainless steel and are painted to match the GLIDER's color.

All of the hardware is made of stainless steel, and the chains are made of double-zinc-plated steel.

PolyTuf recycled HDPE lumber has the appearance of painted wood without the maintenance that comes with it; it doesn't need to be painted, stained, or waterproofed. Depending on the situation, clean with soap and water or use a power washer. It will not deteriorate or crack as a result of exposure to the elements.

Is there a pulley system on this glider? out of the way footrest?

However, the quality is exceptional. I believe that gliding with a footrest would be difficult.

We purchased a foot glider in February but didn't put it together until today because the weather in Wisconsin was too cold to use it. BF put it together in about an hour, including reading the instructions that came with it first. The directions are clear. It's a bit heavier than some of the less expensive gliders, but the glider mechanism is fantastic! This glider appears to be of higher quality than other gliders I've seen in the marketplace here. The quality appears to be excellent, and this glider should last us for many years! Anyone looking for a high-quality, beautiful, and smooth-gliding glider should consider this glider!.

The only drawback is the cost of the bench, which is a little on the high side. However, I am aware that it is pricey because it is handcrafted and built to last a lifetime!.
