Questions & Answers

Is it possible to obtain a 34" heavy duty gilder bench without a backrest or arms?

Make a phone call and inquire.

Is there anywhere (or anyone) who can tell me how to do this? They were lost by the spouse. Thanks. ?

Make a phone call and request that they send you an email.

Is this bench really as white as it appears in the photo?

It is, in fact, white. My purchase has made me very happy.

How well does it withstand the elements? I'm thinking of putting it on a covered porch, but there's a chance it'll get wet and snowy.?

This is the first time I've used this glider during the summer. Ours is on the patio and receives full sun in the morning, as well as rain. It's well-built and appears to cope well with the elements. During the winter, it will be shielded by a tarp. I bought it because of the maximum weight it can support, which is 600 pounds. It was well worth the money.

Please give me instructions! In English, to be precise
3/5

The only reason I gave this glider three stars is because the assembly instructions were difficult to follow. Over the years, I've put together a lot of furniture, and the most common issue is that the instructions aren't clear. either a lack of instructions, insufficient instructions, or instructions that have been translated but have lost their meaning. The instructions for this glider were "wordy" and only had a few illustrations. The illustrations that were present were photocopied in a poor manner, with details almost blacked out. Because there were no indicators to show "front and back" or "top and bottom" of the pieces, I had to disassemble and reassemble one of the tasks I had completed. The glider is large and will fit those big guys who come to visit during family gatherings during the holidays. It has a nice gliding quality to it. The image depicts the appearance. The assembly is the real issue. I was irritated to the point where I despised the bench by the time I was finished. It took several days for me to recover. At the very least, it isn't a shoddy job! It's a solid structure. But why, oh why, do these manufacturers continue to scrimp on assembly instructions? What would it cost them to hire someone who can write and understands the English language to write the explanations?.

I'm working on a version that isn't quite finished
5/5

We ordered the unfinished version, and I thought it would be useful to share our project experience with others. To begin with, the product arrived a day or two ahead of schedule. On arrival, it was in perfect condition. In the photo, you can see the end result of our efforts. The first step was to apply two coats of exterior semi-gloss paint to achieve the desired effect. Before assembling the pieces, apply a primer to each one. To do that, you'll need a small amount of room. Avoid getting too much paint on the brush, and inspect for drips or runs after drying, which you can remove with a single-edged razor and sandpaper. Reading the instructions and following them exactly, especially when connecting the bench to the base with the glider arms, made assembly fairly simple. I got it wrong at first because I assumed I knew what I was doing, but I went back and carefully read the instructions, which corrected my minor errors. It functions flawlessly and is extremely durable. It took about an hour to put everything together, and having a partner is helpful but not necessary. We completed the project by filling all of the screw holes with putty and sanding the putty smooth before applying a topcoat of paint. In general, we are extremely pleased with the outcome and enjoy using the product!!.

This glider is absolutely incredible
5/5

Even in the mornings when the temperature is below freezing, I enjoy sitting in the glider while the dog goes outside to do her business. br>Very sturdy and well-made, with simple and straightforward assembly. forward (I completed it in less than 30 minutes without the assistance of anyone else - Having the right tools is beneficial). br>Even though my wife and I are both fairly large people, we can sit together without feeling crammed and enjoy the smooth gliding action. br>A few screw fasteners are countersunk quite deeply, but this does not detract from the glider's overall appearance or function. br>It has been exposed to extremes of heat, direct sunlight, rain, and cold, but shows no signs of wear - Now that winter has arrived, I'll cover it with a tarp. br>My wife requested a glider to be placed beneath the new pergola we constructed, and she is pleased. This brings me joy!.

The Best Mother's Day Present Ever! This glider is perfect for me
5/5

I bought it as a Mother's Day present for my mother. I can't wait to see her face when I hand it over to her! It's a beautiful piece of furniture for her front porch that's both strong and sturdy. Before my husband got home, I put it together by myself, and he was blown away by the final product! Thank you for a wonderful product!.

Sturdy glider that I was able to assemble by myself
5/5

I was able to put it together by myself, but I did require assistance in moving it into place. I had to re-drill a hole in the glider because it was misaligned, but I'm still very pleased with both items! Ours came in a white semi-gloss finish. It was a solid stain, and it was damp when it arrived. It was completely dry after a day in the sun, so don't expect to use it on the same day that you put it together. We got two chairs and a glider. One of the chairs had a broken front slat (due to overtightening or a knot), but I was able to contact the builder directly, and he mailed me a replacement the next day. Exceptional customer service in every way!.

The bench is lovely and sturdy
5/5

The bench is lovely and sturdy. This purchase has made me extremely happy! It has a nice glide to it (it doesn't have a huge range of motion, but I don't like ones that move too much). ) My only gripe is that the instructions for putting it together aren't very clear. Nothing is labeled, and the photographs are poor. Even the video isn't up to par. But my 10-year-old son and I were able to finish it:.

Glider of great quality
5/5

Glider is a lovely, well-kept creature. It's well-made, moves smoothly, and is by far the quietest glider I've ever encountered. Glider is simple to put together, but it's a lot easier with two people. All bolt holes and the majority of screw holes have been pre-drilled. drilled. The seat, back, arms, and frame ends are all pre-assembled. The pieces are pre-assembled, but they will need to be bolted or screwed together. 7/16 and 9/16 wrenches, as well as a 9/16 socket or ratcheting wrench and a screw gun, are required for assembly. The screw package comes with a bit for screws. Our glider arrived with a broken seat slat on the bottom front edge, but with a quick call to the phone number listed in the instructions and prompt courteous service from the seller, we were able to get a new slat with pre-installed cushions. In a matter of days, you'll have drilled holes and the correct stain color. This seller and product are both highly recommended.
