Questions & Answers
Pith is extracted from coconuts to create this Coco potting soil. In a coconut shell, this is the soft, spongy organic material that binds the strands of fiber. Sifting to remove long strand fibers and other impurities is one of the ways we maintain high quality standards to meet customer expectations. Once it has been washed, it is dried and compressed to be nearly ph neutral to grow ANY kind of plant. We do not add any chemicals or fertilizer to our plants as each plant has its own nutrition requirements. A fibrous organic material takes advantage of its ability to absorb water, nutrients, and air easily and readily. Its organic nature allows the plant's roots and leaves to grow quickly, since it is an organic growing medium. You can add compost (if you are going to do organic gardening) or the appropriate fertilizer for your plants, or a combination of the two. A healthy crop requires the right amount of water, enough sunlight, and the right fertilizer and nutrient. I wish you a happy growing season. This product is manufactured by Enroot
There is a possibility of sawing it in pieces, but it would be messy, I feel. If you don't use it all as soon as you wet it, it is not necessary. Despite the fact that it is prone to dry out again in your bucket, or whatever you use for soaking, it will remain fine to use in the future. This is only coconut fiber that has been moistened. As a side note, you will need more water than what is listed in the instructions. You can have a lot of fun with it!

Selected User Reviews For SpongEase Pro Coco Coir Brick - Each brick makes 2 Gallons Organic Coco Coir Potting Soil for All Plants, Cuttings, Seedlings and Seeds (650 gm)
The fact that I hydrated this brick and found a child's sized mask in the middle made me a little concerned.
This is such a great It's a pain having mold or mildew appear almost instantly on top I edit (
Having used this soil for several weeks with better results, I am giving it an extra star. In my opinion, there is a good possibility that the mold growth was caused by a user mistake. As I began to move forward, I watered my plants much less frequently in an effort to see if that would have any effect. Sure enough, it I'm sorry for my mistake!.
The container on top implies this is soil, however this is an inert medium, so you have to feed any plants you put into it, and you have to prepare it if you plan to grow marijuana with it, by boiling it in water with some calmag. You can expect all sorts of weird mold fungus to grow and even some sodium crystallization if you don't boil it.
My only regret is that I didn't purchase It is my first time to use this service. In a pot where trees are planted, it filled a hole. The black pot is on top of a 3 gallon pot and as you can see, it's black inside. Those two inch thick bricks rose by at least 10 inches, and I transplanted them into a new I did a good thing by breaking it up because it became even more once separated. Even when watered, it is light in weight. With new soil, we will see how the squash do this year. Be sure to put some fertilizer in your garden. No prefertilized seeds were used in this crop. It was planted on May 4th, the last photo was taken one month later on June fourth. It has been two years since I added Miracle Grow to my water. I layered pots with some holes, then placed those in the larger pot. Water drains out of the larger pot and leaves the coconut husk moist. I cannot imagine ever going back to black dirt. Keep those 2 black trees and the 6 large plant pots. You will need them someday! In these pots you can normally find the larger plants at the farm store or walmart.
I also have other house plants that don't have this problem as long as they are grown in regular The soil has never dried out completely since I planted the plant a few weeks ago, so I had to replace it with new soil. After only watering it once, I planted the plant in it and it never dried out completely. Instead of my family and I breathing in mold spores due to my plant being covered in mold, a few harmless bugs would've been a better alternative. The entire process was a huge waste of time, effort, and money!.
Eco-friendly, convenient, and easy to use, Coco coir from Sponge Ease is the perfect sponge The plant is friendly to use, and its scent is great (a bit like cedar). It can be used either as a soil conditioner or as a There can be too much nutrient in potting soil mixes or they may not drain so you can add coco coir, perlite, vermiculite, gravel, sand, etc. The pH of the soil mix should be between 5 and 6. In 2 and 6, imagine a sphere. Using organic container gardens calls for this ingredient. It is always possible to let the compressed coir brick hydrate and expand overnight by adding a few gallons of water to the brick and letting it sit for a couple hours. Considering the fact that it expands several times, a minimum bucket size of 3 gallons should be used.
It is the kind of soil I bought to use with succulent seeds that I bought, since it was recommended not to use regular potting soil with them because of their incredibly small size. great in holding moisture, which seedlings need. It is messy, but it holds onto moisture fairly well for quite a while. In addition to rooted cut begonias in this brick, since I had far more in this brick than I needed, I've started to root cuttings from other plants too. There is a photo of some seedlings of begonia 'dregei' I have growing inside the box. It is not a good idea to use this alone as the sole source of potting soil. You need to find out what the proper combination should be online, or just mix this in with something else. Buying this kind of stuff would be like buying miracle gro (just as an example, I would not put it in miracle gro because, on the contrary, it already holds moisture well enough, but more drainage would be good).
This soil is excellent for growing vegetables and flowers indoors. You don't need to mix this soil with dirt or other soil you only need to use it as is. The program works well on its own. I appreciate your kind words.
