Yes, I've used this soil for all kinds of plants and forcing all kinds of bulbs; it's safe, and water doesn't puddle, so the bulbs you're forcing won't freeze while you prepare them for the winter in your refrigerator. This soil is ideal for forcing Hyacinth, tulips, freesias, and other bulbs.
I didn't use a zipper to close the bag; instead, I used a food clip.
Great. All of my plants benefit from it.
That's precisely what I did with it. It's fantastic!

I had previously purchased this soil, but upon opening the bag, I noticed some small yellow patches scattered throughout the mixture. I had no idea what it was, whether it was a nutrient or something else. I kept going and replanting my pots. The biggest blunder of my life. Within a week, I began to notice black spots on the leaves of my plants, as well as yellow leaves. After doing some research online, I discovered it was a mold, and there was no way to get rid of it. All of my plant babies, which I had cared for for more than two years, had died by the second week. I reduced my plant collection from nine to two. Only two of them survived because I didn't use THIS soil on them. Due to a lack of quality control, I will not be purchasing from this warehouse in the future.
Mushrooms began to grow on the only maranta plant. Soil contaminated by spores.
As a result of this soil, my house has become infested with fungus gnats. I'm completely furious! I looked inside the box where I keep the soil; it's an airtight box with hundreds of gnats flying around inside.
After using this potting mix, the plants began to die. Gnats also appeared, despite the fact that the mix claims to be less prone to gnats, which was one of the reasons I bought it in the first place. This is a potting mix that I do not recommend.
This item's description and images are VERY deceptive! A woman is shown holding a large bag of dirt that could be used to plant something. The dirt bag that arrived isn't even half as big as the one in the photo!.
This was purchased as a plant for my office. I've used Scotts in the past and have never had a problem. This bag, on the other hand, appears to contain a fungus. My plants are flourishing, but the new leaves have developed brown rust. They are destroying and turning all of the new leaves brown. I'm in desperate need of a solution.
I've been buying this soil for a long time and have over 100 house plants. Fertilizer prills, also known as Osmocote prills, are beige balls that feed plants for up to six months. I'm looking at the photos, and they don't look like eggs to me. Yes, gnat eggs are yellow, but those are not them; if the soil contained that many eggs, gnats would be flying all over the place as soon as the bag was opened, and larvae would be crawling around in the soil. Bugs aren't time-released; if you think about it, you'd expect to find larvae, eggs, and/or grown bugs in the soil, not just eggs. Because soil bags aren't sealed, I'm sure there are bugs flying around inside them. br>I'm writing this because I threw away two large bags of perfectly fine new soil before doing my research. A link to an explanation of the white, yellow, and orange balls found in soil can be found here. Stop throwing away soil or thinking it's contaminated. Check out the link I've never had a problem with soil in all my years of growing English Ivy. If you look closely at the dirt of the English Ivy, you'll notice a lot of prills. These are just a few of the plants I have growing in my yard. The link provides information, and I hope that some people will find it useful. br>br>Yellow or Orange Balls in Soil: Flourishing plants have been solved by the Culprits. website. combr>.
It was necessary for me to re-write My plant needed to be potted because it had outgrown the container it came in. I'd never done anything like this before. In my life, I've potted a plant, watched a YouTube video, and prayed to God that it wouldn't die. Well. So far, everything has gone according to plan. My plant is doing well and shows no signs of dying. 👍.
