The only reason I gave it one star is that no star wasn't There was no germination of the seeds. We received the seed packet on May 7, 2019, and we are excited about it. On May 8, 2019, I planted the seedlings. As of May 22, we are on the 22nd day of the month. By now, I believe something should have appeared! A few days later, I planted sweet basil seeds purchased at Lowe's in a pot. They germinated in 5 days. In the future, I will update my post with pictures of the Thai basil.
After the plants are mature, I will have a better idea of what I have. Due to the length of time it took to receive them, I gave two stars to this product. The seeds still hadn't been shipped a week after I placed the order! I find this unacceptable. There will never be anything else I order from this outfit.
While I also purchased other herb seeds from the same company, this was the only one I purchased from this company, but it performed just as well or even better than the other ones. It was difficult to determine how to handle the seeds as there were no instructions on the package, but they did well in spite of My leaves aren't yet large enough for me to get a ton of flavor (just a sort of mild flavor like basil or mint), but I am optimistic that I will get a decent batch for.
Not 500 seeds as advertised but 24 seeds were included in the package. It would be great if they germinated.
I can really tell these seeds sprouted and they have healthy plants. It may not be the basil you are looking for it's just that Thai Basil may not be what you need. That's the first time I have heard of Thai being the licorice I'll take full responsibility for that!.
Gaea's Blessing seeds, another brand I've never had a problem with, have always worked for me. My attempt at saving a few dollars by trying this brand was a mistake, but I guess what you get is I was surprised to find that there were far fewer seeds in each packet than I was expecting. I suspect all the seeds in my four packets I planted during the first week are probably dead since they crumpled up in my hand as I took them out. My suspicions were confirmed when no seed appeared in my garden after two From now on, I will use the Gaea's Blessing brand of Thai Basil seeds instead of my regular brand. * * *Updates It took 16 days for the seeds to germinate. A rating of 4 stars has been assigned to this review. Though the seeds still grew, they took much longer to germinate as compared to the other brand.
The best part is that I managed to grow 4 plants from a tiny part of the packet, which are growing in my garden, and I have more seeds So far, the leaves I have harvested have had an excellent smell and flavor. It's gonna be a summer of Pho for me.
A little less than a quarter of the sprouts developed. It's hard to tell how many seeds are in the.
