There may or may not be a problem. Zeon zoysias are thicker than the ones we laid as full sods in our front yard, so it is not something that we would use as a lawn.
There are thicker blades on this type of zoysia than on zeons.
If you are not sure of your planting zone (in NJ we are a 7) you can look it up online. The first week of October was the time when I planted plugs in zone 7. If you are unsure about your zone guidelines, you may either research them online or contact a Zoysia farm directly for help. My review is not that of an expert, only one that of a customer. But the plugs have been really nice so far. It is okay to recommend them if the timing is right.

Replying to you would be appreciated This seller is the one to order from. Upon arrival, the site was lush, green and surrounded by water Plant is strong and healthy with good runners and roots. I am very satisfied with these plugs. They are of great quality and a fair price. They arrived a little earlier than expected. In the meantime, I will try to post an update once the plugs have been in place for a while. Here's what the plugs look like after 3 months in the ground. From my experience with this particular seller, I will continue to order from them. This is a great recommendation!.
The first month has been good so far. There are several of these plants in a lawn that I've planted. Some of the plants did not stay planted, probably due to my sprinkler or hoses. I planted them again and they are doing fine. I spaced them out so many that it will take a couple of years for them to take effect, but so far, so good. The product will be ordered again without a doubt. Several of the plants were a little brown when they arrived, but a little water quickly made them brighter.
The roots of each plug are well developed, and each is in a separate compartment. Take a look at the flats in which flowers for planting outside are sold. Both of these concepts are in play here. As I complete the transformation of my yard, I will have a full Zoysia lawn. Zoysia grass is very resilient and once it takes root in a few places, it will start spreading more and more every year. When comparing Zoysia with regular grass, it really does make a difference. When you transition from standard grass to Zoysia grass, you can feel how much thicker it is and hear how much harder the lawn mower has to work to get up the height of it. Even though it's recommended for more southern states, I live in southeastern Pennsylvania and it works great for me. It is best if it can get a lot of sun. Since this grass doesn't grow as fast or as tall as other grasses, it needs less grooming than other grasses. You will want to keep watering the plugs every day as long as you can see them getting larger and greener after you plant them. With the auger drill attachment I purchased through Amazon, I dug holes for planting grass seed, and I picked up soil designed for seeding lawns from Lowe's. In addition, you may also want to get rid of any weeds and non-Zoysia grass surrounding the new plug for a radius of 3 to 6 inches. In this way, the plug can learn to establish itself into the soil and then diffuse into the surrounding area. In addition, I put some twigs into the ground so that they would grow one foot tall once planted. It was easier to locate them when it was time to water them this way. The problem is that there are over 50 items to locate, so it's pretty hard to find all of them.

We received these about a week ahead of the expected We also purchased a plug cutter, so planting the plugs was a lot easier. The plugs were still fresh, green, and moist.
I would recommend that you buy the individual plants. I have grown all of my plugs. In spite of the fact that there was something that dug part of them up the first three nights, I manually redistributed each morning and they have been doing well. It looked like they were healthy and arrived green.
These plants arrived in good condition and stayed that way for several days because I wasn't able to get them all in the ground at one time.
I tried seeding it at first but it didn't work. So, I ordered the tufts of grass, and it seems to be growing and holding. Attached you will find a picture for your On the basis of positive experience, we bought three more trays.
