Questions & Answers
It contains a mixture of grass seed and clover. Last year, I put it down, and the grass grew like crazy. The clover is involved in the mixture but 25% at 25% ratio. I continued to cut it as usual throughout the summer. This year, I checked it out, and the grass is out of control due to all of the rain. There is more clover this year than last year, and it appears to be staying at the same height as last year, so it will not need to be cut. I realize this isn't much of a response, but I hope it is useful. However, my grass does appear to be in good condition, and I am satisfied with it.
This is an equivalent mixture (5% coated DLF Micro-) Clover) but the grass seed mixture is 85% Tall Fescue Blend and 2010% 4N Perennial (suitable for sun and light shade). Pro Time and Earth Turf are finer fescues that do well in deep shade.
I planted it in early April in the southwest and watered it at least twice a day until it sprouted. It requires 4–7 inches of amended soil. To protect the seeds and aid germination, a light covering is required.
As is the case with many seeds. It's possible that it won't last longer than a year. Simply look up how long grass and clover seeds will last on the internet. Keep it somewhere cool and dark.

The concept of a self-sustaining community appeals to me. lawn maintenance is important for a variety of reasons: 1. br>br> There is a lower reliance on chemicals.
2. Water that is safe to drink; We get our drinking water from an aquifer beneath our feet.
3. The use of less or no "organic" fertilizer or herbicides could result in cost savings.
4. Being on the cutting edge of a new way of thinking about what a suburban lawn can be.
5. We won't have to use herbicides or fertilizer, so it'll be safe for kids, pets, and adults. br>br>Meanwhile, I was preparing for a job interview. It has been raining nonstop for the past three weeks. There wasn't a single blade of grass to be found. I would have been satisfied with 50% germination but getting nothing at all is unacceptable. Also Micro clover is 4% of tall fescue this is mostly different types of tall fescue this is mostly different types of tall fescue this is mostly different types of tall f If I had known, I doubt I would have purchased.
I purchased four bags. We've been almost a month and have seen almost no growth. Before planting this seed, we hired a landscaper to professionally test and prepare our soil. We've followed the instructions to the letter, but no clover has sprouted and only a few blades of grass have emerged. At most, a few dozen grass blades have sprouted.
I live in the northwest suburbs of Phoenix, Arizona, and I was born on March 1st. To plant, I mowed down existing perennial ryegrass as low as it would go, covered it with a light dusting of garden soil purple bag from Walmart, sprinkled the seed on top, then covered it with a light coat of steer manure, then a light coat of peetmoss. To keep the birds at bay, I used reflective tape and simply strung it across the lawn. I programmed my irrigation system to water for seven minutes every six hours, and voila.
I used great compost to fill in the bare spots on my lawn, then added Lime and Seed Starter Fertilizer, as directed on the bag's back. Nothing grew despite spending $60 on this product plus another $60 on lime and fertilizer. The day before a week of light rain, I sowed everything. I expected it to be sunny in the afternoons with sporadic light rain for the next five days. The seeds were never completely dried out as required by the manufacturer. I only have a few spots with a smidgeon of grass, but the rest of my yard is littered with dead seeds on bare ground. br>br>In another area, I used the fertilizer and lime and only planted clover (from a different company). The clover germinated in just two days and has grown into a lush carpet. I requested a refund for this product, and I intend to purchase more clover from a different supplier. I would advise you to save your money and do the same. This item isn't functional.
This seed isn't going to grow into anything. Nothing from this bag is growing, despite the fact that I planted it at the same time as the Pennington's. The Pennington's are looking good. br>br>Edit: Because I had the bag, I gave it another shot - Though the weather was a little warmer this time, I was able to get some seed to come in and it was performing better. It was a little patchy, so I mixed it with the Pennington's a third time to see how it turned out.
I'm not sure why so many people have left negative feedback. This quickly became a problem. It is a high-quality seed. I planted it in poor soil with a mix of sun and shade. For two weeks, I watered it twice a day. In less than 20 days, the image shows the growth. br> I made a stupid error. I mistook clover for something else. The bag description had escaped my notice. It appears to be Beautiful grass and small clover so far. That could change as the company grows.
