Due to a water shortage, I have allowed my grass to die back. I saw advertisements for this and, after some hesitation, decided that what the heck, it couldn't look any worse than it did already. The application was simple, and it looked great if you didn't look too closely. Before allowing my dog to approach it, I let it dry for 48 hours. She's turned green in places where she should be white, which isn't very appealing. I'm hoping they're being truthful about the product's safety, but unless you want a green dog, you should avoid it.
This stuff is amazing on my Empire Zoysia grass. I live in Florida, and the color complements my neighbor's lawn perfectly. I used a 5oz of grass paint to 1 gallon of water mixture, which worked perfectly, though it did take a long time to coat the grass. Do not follow the advice of those who say to set the sprayer to a fine mist; instead, set it to a little more spray than mist and spray in wide overlapping circles to coat the grass much more quickly. I used a HD pump sprayer and had to repeat the process twice. 3 times. I used about two-thirds of a bottle to paint a 900-square-foot area. It took approximately 1 minute. It took 5 hours to spray, but it was well worth it. I ordered a second bottle shortly after my first and Amazon appears to have forgotten to ship it, and I'm unable to contact Amazon customer service because they are not accepting phone calls at this time. The only reason I gave it four instead of five stars is because of this.
I really like this product; I followed the instructions and mixed 8 oz to a gallon for the first application, which was enough to cover the entire front yard; the next day, I mixed 2 oz to a half pint and sprayed in a few areas to add contrast and make it look more natural. Thank you for creating such an amazing product; I felt like a hypocrite watering my lawn while driving electric vehicles and having solar panels from an environmental standpoint. This allows me to follow HOA rules while maintaining my integrity. I'm going to buy more.
Simply take a look at the photos! During the hottest days of summer, my town had a strict watering ban in effect for nearly two months. My lawn had turned brown and dormant, so I decided to do something about it. br>br>I mixed a 5oz to 1gallon ratio and got an amazing result, which looked very real even up close. My front lawn needed only one bottle to be covered. I purchased a second bottle for next year's use!.
Meanwhile, I decided to give this product a try, with the intention of simply spraying the spots, but the color of the paint, while completely natural, did not match the color of our grass. My husband then proposed that we simply paint the entire lawn. That wasn't my intention, but once I got started, something magical happened. My lawn has turned out to be quite lovely. It is a COMPLETELY NATURAL-THINKING-THINKING-THINKING-THINKING-THINKING If sprayed all over the lawn, it would have a LOOKING COLOR. Nobody will be able to tell that my beautiful, green lawn is 100% unnatural. If you have a large lawn, you might not want to go this route, but if you don't mind spraying your entire yard, this is the product for you. It's concentrated, so a gallon of it will last a long time. To apply the first gallon, it took me about 20 minutes. It's been a couple of weeks since I painted my grass, and it's still looking great.
I was blown away by how good my grass looked after using this product. I'm not sure how long it'll last or how long it'll look this good, but my neighbors were all blown away, so for now, I'm giving it ten stars and will write another review in about a month.
br>In south Florida, I use it once a month to keep the grass green. My lawn is so lush and green that it appears to be artificial. It is lovely.
