Questions & Answers
In fountain pens, this is a very common occurrence. They're designed to be used on a regular basis. I can leave mine at my desk over the weekend and it will still be functional when I return on Monday. To flush out the dried ink in the nip channel, simply remove the nip piece and place it in warm water. I hope this information is useful.
No, it is not possible. I would not recommend purchasing this pen because it has been difficult for me to get ink to flow to the nip. It was not worth the money, and I was unable to return it for a full refund.
Any water-based product, I believe, is acceptable. Using a water-based ink should be sufficient. Waterman and Pelikan inks, both of which are available on Amazon, are the brands I use.

Selected User Reviews For Picasso 902 Gentleman Collection Fountain Pen Original Box (Carnelian)
I went with the black and gold version because I thought it was the prettiest and made the Picasso line drawing the easiest to see. It arrived in a stylish and one-of-a-kind box. It was clearly made with this pen in mind. I've had a lot of positive feedback on this pen, and I've been using it as my primary writing tool. Unfortunately, I believe someone who admired it had a little too much admiration for it, and it has now vanished. Sadness! I haven't replaced it yet because I'm hoping it will'reappear' on its own, but if it doesn't, I'm going to have to reorder. It's just so unique and well-made, and I had a lot of fun with it.
This is the second time I've purchased a Picasso pen. I really like the first one, which was just a random pick-up. I was curious if this was a one-off or if these were good entry-level pens. br>In order to compare the 902 with a Pilot MR and a Dryden Luxury pen, I purchased a Pilot MR and a Dryden Luxury pen. At the price point of under $50, a fountain pen is a fountain pen. The 902 outperforms both pens and the Dryden by a long shot. The Pilot MR is a nice pen with a long life expectancy, according to reviews. When writing, the Dryden felt loose, and the nib was scratchy, not smooth like the other pens. br>This is merely my viewpoint.
This is, first and foremost, a lovely pen. One of my other fountain pens is very light, and I have trouble writing with it, but this one has a little weight to it, and I have discovered that I can write with it. It's very smooth, and I've yet to find anything I don't like about it. br>br>For the time being, I'm sticking with J. I used Herbin 1670 Anniversary Red bottled ink and wrote on Rhodia 80g dot paper and cheap notebook paper with no bleed through. The nib is medium in size and works well. I have a few skips in my writing, which I blame on the way I hold the pen. My wife wrote with it without skipping a beat, which confirms my suspicions. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another Picasso fountain pen if the opportunity arose.
It has a nice weight to it, and the converter that comes with it is a nice touch. Although the nib is a little springy, keep in mind that this is a simple fountain pen. If you're upgrading from a Lamy or a pilot metro, you'll notice that the weight makes it easier to glide, so you don't have to push it downward as much as you would with a plastic case metro. br>A fantastic everyday fountain pen that is also a great conversation piece and appears to be high-end! So far, I'm having fun with it. br>I'm using hobby lobby ink, and so far there have been no hiccups or spills.
It's a fat nib that's very close to. The 9 equivalent has a tendency to smear. br>br>Leaky. br>br> br>br>Ink, rather than being black, is light and watery, almost gray. br>br>I like the look, but it's difficult to write with. br>br>The Dryden pens have a better writing quality, but they leak even more. After a week, I decided to stop using it.
A lovely instrument for writing. My Monte Blancs look cheap in comparison to this pen.
It has a nice, over-the-top look to it, and it writes well for the most part. When it comes to ink cartridges, I've had no luck. They don't start feeding ink until they've exhausted all other options. The "dip it in water" trick might work, but I just bought some ink and filled in the gaps. That is perfectly acceptable.
I've tried a lot of fountain pens, and this one is by far the best. It writes smoothly and doesn't dry out over time. I'm overjoyed; it looks great, I'm in good shape, and it's everything I could have hoped for - I also write tens of thousands of words I love this pen and think it's well worth the money - it can write 12 pages at a time. a fantastic deal.
