Product Description

With Texas Bushcraft Tarred Bank Line in your pack, you'll be able to SURVIVE IN THE WILDERNESS. This heavy-duty bank cord can be used for everything from catching a rabbit or a fish to putting together a makeshift shelter to keep you safe during a storm.
100% TARRED NYLON is UV and weather resistant for all of your outdoor activities. This heavy-duty black twine has a 350-pound breaking strength and provides excellent shock absorption for load-bearing and tie-down applications.
PACK MORE PUNCH with this space-saving camping twine, which has the strength of paracord but none of the bulk. With more twisted nylon twine on hand, you'll be able to brave the great outdoors with plenty of bank cord.
The twisted 36 bank line is extremely versatile, with superior knotting ability for accessory tie points, netting, and hanging loops. It can also be untwisted so that individual strands can be used to sew tent and sail repairs.
The ABRASION-RESISTANT black netcoat stands up to tree trunk friction and high-vibration environments. It can also withstand long periods of submersion in brackish water without rotting or developing marine growth.

Questions & Answers

Is it better to braid or twist your hair?

Twisted is useful if you need to unwind the three twisted strands so that it can be used in a variety of survival situations. Because it's twisted, the cut end will unravel a little, but because it's tarred and sticky, it won't unravel as much. Because the nylon fibers are braided together, braided will not come unwound. This is especially useful if you're working on a project that requires a lot of cuts and you don't want them to come unwound. For Bushcraft, this is a must-have item

If you're going to make a ridgeline out of cord, you'll need this for attachment points along the line. Check out Corporal's Corner for instructions on how to make a quick deploy ridgeline out of this by tying Prusik knots with it. This material can be used to make a variety of binding knots, as well as improvised shelter.

Catfishing is a breeze with this lure! And a whole lot more! I used up my first roll of this line on so many different things that I can't even remember them all
5/5

This has quickly become one of my favorite things to do. For just about everything, I keep my favorite utility cord in my pocket. I particularly like that it's braided rather than twisted, because that means it won't unravel as soon as you cut it to length, as twisted lines frequently do. It also helps to keep it from unraveling because it has been tarred. I usually light a lighter on the freshly cut ends of any nylon-based material. stranded line to keep it from unraveling, but I know I won't have to worry about it if I'm in a hurry or don't have a lighter with this line. br> For the past week, I've been very busy getting all of my gear ready for a new fishing adventure that involves trotting lines from a kayak on a large lake. The second image shows one of the many applications I've discovered for this line. It's a folding knife that I keep clipped to my right front pants pocket while fishing, and I use a short length of Texas Bushcraft Tarred Bank Line tied off at the other end to a small carabiner that I attach to a belt loop or whatever is handy so that if I reach out over the water to cut something and drop the knife, it won't fall in the water and get lost. My first roll of line ran out a few days ago, but rather than grab some other line, It is expected to arrive the following day. Woo Hoo!.

Strong and good for knots, this is a good bank line
5/5

Strong knots are formed by the tarred line. br>I'm using it for shelter lines as part of my camping gear. Having cordage on hand is always a good idea. This is my primary cordage at the moment. It's lightweight but strong enough for most applications. br>I still have some paracord, but this has taken its place as my go-to tool. to tie a knot.

This stuff is incredible
5/5

This was purchased to repair the netting that covered my poultry area. After several winters in Montana, the net has a few large holes that I keep trying to patch, but the repairs never last. I repaired the net again after receiving the tarred twine, but then we had an Arctic storm with several feet of snow and - 25F. I went outside to see how things were holding up, and everything is still in good working order. It was also really nice to use the twine because it didn't tangle or slip. It's absolutely fantastic.

Extremely durable, compact, and light! This is an outstanding product that is almost as strong as paracord but much easier to use
5/5

I've used it to make lashings for my bucksaw, ladder frame pack, arrows, and natural shelters, and it's been strong and compact. I've also used it to hang my backpack when I stop for a break and as a ridge line, and I've even broken it down into three strands for repairs. I've also used it as a fishing line and am very happy with everything it can do. This is an outstanding product!.

It's not 525 feet, but rather 480, and some of the rolls are pieces that have been rolled up
3/5

I bought three rolls over the course of a few days; the first was around 480 feet because I was making 250 foot trotlines and ran out of material; I started using the second roll and it appeared to be put together with scraps. I couldn't keep going because there were so many cuts. I'm hoping for a better third roll.

In a pinch, this is a great lightweight substitute for poo paracord
5/5

A fantastic follow-up message was sent by the seller. following the completion of the order That appeals to my tastes. This is tough, with a tensile strength of over 300 pounds. I've used this type before, and it's easy to deploy in an emergency, and it can even be reused if you want to. It is cost-effective and versatile. br>Great stuff, get some and be ready for when you run out of paracord and need to put up or tie down a tarp, a win fly, and the list goes on and on, such as making a fishing it game net, fishing (trout line), and so on. br>Cheers.

Does exactly what I needed it to do
5/5

In general, the bank line is tarred, and there isn't much to say about it. Because paracord on paracord tends to slip, I used it to tie some prusik knots on my ridgeline for a tarp. It's very strong, and I'm going to use it for a lot of other things. br>br>I should mention that the company did send me a nice thank you message after the product was shipped after I purchased it. That, in my opinion, demonstrates that they provide excellent customer service (even if the message was automated).
