Let me begin by saying that when I first opened the box and saw this small roll, I was quite taken aback. I'm disappointed because this isn't 33 feet of jute. Buyer beware. I won't be buying from this seller again because it's about the size of a 5 oz can of peanuts.

This jute rope is supple and pliable while still being strong, unlike many others I've worked with. It's not as crunchy and stiff to work with as cotton cord, and it folds and ties almost as smoothly. When I was putting together this scratching post for my cat and was using cotton cord, I thought I'd gone insane. Okay, I'm exaggerating a little. However, unlike many other low-cost varieties, it is extremely supple and does not unravel on you. Consider the following project. By scratching on the bookshelf post in the basement, my cat ruined it. No more tearing into the wood with my solution of turning it into a proper scratching post.

I was looking for a specific craft rope for a project and couldn't seem to locate it. Craft stores had similar items, but they were more expensive; however, you get a lot of bang for your buck and excellent quality from these stores.

I'm hoping it'll be able to withstand the test of time. I don't see why it shouldn't. br>In terms of price-to-value, I believe I could get it for less.

The quality was excellent, but the roll could have been a little longer to make it a better value. I'd like to use it for a variety of things, but I try to keep my usage to a minimum.

Make sure you have enough jute by measuring

I thought the jute was of good quality. On that front, I have no complaints. br>I grossly underestimated the amount of material I would require for my project; perhaps some measuring would have helped. However, 33 feet is not nearly as long as you might believe.
