Questions & Answers
As long as the diameter is large enough, it should suffice. The number 18 is. The diameter is 058".
Yes, but the small diameter will likely saw through the laundry bag under heavy strain, making it inconvenient to use as a handle. I concur with another response - Because of its thicker nature, use paracord. Also, any knot tied with this stuff, in my experience, is pretty much permanent, whereas a paracord knot can be easily picked apart. Solid braid cord, which is frequently used for drawstrings, is slightly thinner than paracord but 2x or 3x thicker than this masonline.
This braided string is excellent, but it has a small diameter (1.25 inches). 5mm or 0. 060 in. or about a sixteenth of an inch
It also becomes a little hazy with use. You could probably do it yourself if you wanted to. That's an excellent suggestion!

I keep getting the wrong product. The line that was delivered to me was twisted, not braided, but I opened a spool and started using it anyway, and it appears to be good line; the only problem is that braided line is more durable and harder to fray, and can be rolled up and used over and over. My experience with twisted is that after one good wall, it will be cut or broken, requiring you to roll out more before finishing. If I could actually receive the line that I ordered, I would give this product a higher rating. I returned it once and got exactly what I had sent back. I don't have time for all of this, so I've just begun to use it. I'm curious if a braided line is actually available.
I bought a 500' roll of line to use to hang wind chimes on, and it seemed like a good cord, so I used it up and decided to buy the 1000' roll this time so I'd have plenty. Be aware that the 1000' roll is less expensive per foot than the shorter rolls, but the braiding is only half as tight. When pulled straight, it appears to be about as strong, but I can't imagine it holding a 100-pound load. When the line is cut to melt the end, it flares out like angle hair and makes a big blob instead of the tighter weave, and it's more prone to fraying and snagging than the tighter weaved line. Not saying it's a bad cord, but I'm going to order the shorter rolls and eat the difference in price. This was my second purchase, and I was dissatisfied with it.
The yellow was out of stock, so I ordered the pink. I needed something that would be visible in low light, and I figured the fluorescent pink would be nearly as good as the yellow. The pink isn't fluorescent at all; it's more of a dull fuchsia than fluorescent pink. I think I can make this work for my project, but I'll have to hang a flag from the string every few feet or so. It appears to be a high-quality string that will withstand the test of time. It's just that the color isn't quite right.
My pool has a free-floating chemical dispenser that was constantly getting caught in my skimmer or on the ladder. I read somewhere on the internet that tying twine to it and attaching it to the ladder would keep it from becoming stuck. The main gripe, however, is that the twine eventually wears out. br>br>After reading the reviews, I decided to give it a shot, and I'm glad I did. We've had it in our pool for two months during the rainy (and moldy) season, and neither the chemicals nor the elements have been able to harm it. Despite being in a direct pump flow for 10 hours a day, it hasn't frayed or even discolored during that time. br>br>It comes highly recommended.
It's been thrown through trees, pulled over branches, and used to pull hundreds of feet of heavier dacron up from the ground. It's been tied, untied, pulled, yanked, and stretched, and it's still in excellent condition. There was very little fraying, and after several knot tying attempts, I only needed to cut about 4 inches off the end. br>br>Excellent material, highly recommended.
The other brand worked fine, but SGT KNOT's twine is far superior in terms of non-stretchability. non-fraying, Characteristics that are a pain to live with Putting it to the test the way I do is a kind of torture test for braided mason's twine, and this stuff far exceeded my expectations. The twine becomes tightly twisted in alternating directions as the Tiny Turner spins rapidly in one direction, then the other. It is subjected to a great deal of pressure. This one gets off to a good start but then falls apart. Snag- It's very easy to work with because it's free, and it's flame-resistant. The cut ends should be sealed. SGT KNOTS will be my new supplier. The variety of colors is also fantastic!.
Tough and long-lasting. I use it in long lengths (typically 800') that must remain in place for several months because it is weather resistant. I want to do my jobs once and not have to redo them because a marker line broke; it's also more deer resistant, as I have deer passing through the work area every night. The vivid colors make it easier to see the distinction between summer and autumn foliage. Keep up the good work. Bill Ferrigno is a licensed professional engineer in the state of California.
1. 5 inches in length Cardboard tube with a 5 inch width. 250ft. The length of the cord. It will not unravel if it is braided. It's a joy to work with this firm cord. To secure the cut ends, gently heat them. Resistant to moisture, oil, acid, and rot. br>Twine String Masonry, Marine, DIY projects, crafts, gardening, and general use. br>Perfect!br>Exactly what I was looking for. It arrived in less than 24 hours after I placed my order. The new Plumb Bob works great with 2 mm braided line. It does not tangle and hangs straight. It's a breeze to tie the knot and it stays put. I finished tying a button knot and was ready to go to work. br>SGT should be admired. KNOTS, I'm a lifelong customer. br>This cord is of higher quality than what I've found at Military Surplus for this purpose of Mason Line, and it just feels right in the hand. br>br>In my 18 years of experience, this is the best cord I've found. The proper tool for the job. br>br> Thank you very much! br>br>.
