Styrofoam is the material that I use for my Halloween tombstones, so I bought this product hoping it would work on them. It is known that other superglues melt foam, but this does not, so it is possibly reasonable to assume that it will also work on rubber. As far as I can tell, it is the strongest glue I have encountered. You will be able to continue using your item after it has set. As most of the other reviews I have, my review is basically the same, but I have to add another success story. I recently had the window separate from the vinyl top of my 2010 Mustang convertible. The repair shops I called all told me the same thing. We're all in! I had been told that it was not possible to fix this issue and that I should buy a new top In forums, a large number of people recommended Rhino Glue for dealing with this issue. I refused to accept this and googled the issue. As a result of following the instructions in the forum, I had no problems. My window is once again attached, and I cycled it through Carwash with a heavy brush without any loose parts. I have shared what I did below. It is just a little open at the top. The seems can be stretched by maybe 5 inches so that there is no preassure there. My steps included using razorblades to clean the edges of the window and then using acetone to clean the entire window. There are two sides of the window, then I began to glue.
