Even though the CA glue will dry on its own without the accelerator, the time it takes to dry is dependent on a couple of factors how much glue is applied and the ambient temperature. If you apply larger amounts of CA glues in the winter months or when the weather is colder, it may take longer for the glue to dry.

My favorite part of my job is working with high-quality products The character of walnut is its beautiful grain, however its voids are a turn-off. It fills the holes/cracks beautifully and you can't tell when sanded that there were even cracks or holes. It was a minor hole in the knot on this cutting board that extended into the side of the board and was filled flawlessly by epoxy.
It was much darker than I thought. The product works well for filling gaps, but I'd expected the color to be light to medium brown based on other reviews. My experience is that it usually ends up being very dark brown (see attached photo of joint gap filled in pine). I do not know whether the formulation changed or if it is just a little bit variable. I was surprised to find that it is also more translucent than I expected. This will make it appear darker when filling a narrow gap (which inherently looks dark). The product works as advertised, and I give it 4 stars overall. The color would have been more aligned with expectations and the foil would have been more opaque if I had given it a 5. I really appreciate the extra applicator tips that are.
