Questions & Answers

Is it possible to use Gorilla Glue on a denture that has broken?

In the words of Joseph Lupoli, Without a doubt! br>br> Despite the fact that the glue is toxic, I was able to fix two dentures this way- They didn't break for the rest of their lives. I used the least amount of glue I could get away with, and I never got sick from it. br>br> br> br> br> br> br> b I was able to save a lot of money by having my dentures repaired. If I had taken them to the dentist, he or she would have ordered them repaired. $, or, in the worst-case scenario, a replacement- Important! br>br> Allow the dentures to air out overnight on a table (preferably near an open window) after they've been repaired.

The glue loses most of its toxicity potential after 8 hours or so (when It's 100% dry) Also, make certain that any excess glue does not ooze out of the cracks and dry. Otherwise, the excess dried glue will loosen while you're eating something and you'll swallow it without even realizing it. You might have a problem if your stomach acids don't destroy the glue before it enters your bloodstream.

What is the stickiness of this on the skin?

Hello, hu go! We don't recommend using Gorilla Super Glue on your skin. If it gets on your skin, soak it for at least 30 minutes in warm, soapy water. This glue is what I use to adhere my press-on nails
5/5

This glue is used in a unique way by me. When I need my press-on nails to last longer than a week, I use these. If your nails are brittle, I don't recommend doing this. I apply one dot of glue to each nail, spread it around, and then press and hold the nail in place. Occasionally, one will pop off, but it applies easily and lasts a long time. br>br>To remove the press on without damaging my nail, I soak a cotton ball in acetone, place it on the nail, and wrap it in foil paper. After 2 - After 3 minutes, I remove the foil and cotton and file away any remaining residue. If there is still any residue, I soak it again and file it. br>br>Seriously, if your nails are brittle, don't try this.

It's not ideal for adhering flat plastic to wood with a wavy grain
3/5

I'm sure this is a fantastic super glue, and I'm sure it's all my fault for not paying more attention to what the product can do. I attempted to glue a 1 1/2" by 3" plastic doorbell to wood that had some wood grain and was not perfectly flat in some places. br>br>I made sure the glue was on clean flat surfaces, but after 20 seconds, it had no grip at all with four drops near each corner of the doorbell. I clenched my fists once more for a minute, and it stayed put. My daughter pushed the doorbell after 15 minutes, and it fell off before the doorbell rang. br>br>I've now sanded the area and added a couple drops to each side of the wood, followed by another drop in each corner. I rang the doorbell for one minute, and it is still ringing. After ten minutes, I added a few more drops to the top of the doorbell, which leaked down the grain and dripped a little below the doorbell. br>br>The point is that the doorbell won't ring tomorrow, in a few days, or even in a few weeks. Another product with the same name, Gorilla superglue GEL, was required. I suppose I just didn't realize I wanted the other product.

Woah

I can't speak to the glue's durability because I don't have any experience with it. Will my glasses fall apart in a few days, for instance? A week or two? Months? Never? I only glued them back together today, after all. But I'm amazed at how quickly this stuff sticks! The arm of my glasses broke, but not the screw-in part. They disintegrated in part where one piece fits into the arm's hinge. E- was my first attempt. I couldn't get 3600 to work for such a small piece of metal because it was too thick and gummy. Then I decided to give it a shot (I'd only ever used gorilla tape on pool hoses before). It had an effect. Again. It's impossible to say how long it'll last because it's such a small piece of metal that locks into the eyeglass arm. I can attest to the fact that it adhered a tiny metal piece into a plastic piece - and eyeglasses get a lot of abuse for having such delicate parts that they may fall apart again. and all of this happened very quickly! To be honest, I think I've discovered a new glue and will be throwing out my old E-6000. 3600! I am blown away. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> My glasses have remained glued together for two weeks.

It's essential that you have it with you when you leave the house! A Wilderness Survival expert taught me the secret of how to treat lacerations away from home thirty years ago
5/5

Apply a thin line of Super Glue to the wound's two sides (careful not to glue your fingers together!). (within a 10-minute period) The wound is closed in 15 seconds, the area is anesthetized, and the water is turned off. No bacteria can enter the wound because it is bacteria-proof. A tube of this should be included in every emergency medical kit!.

Not ok
3/5

Great glue, but the container is twice the actual content (which is a waste of plastic and a poor way to make it appear larger), and even the half-empty bottle did not contain as much product as it should have, despite the fact that there is a line on the sticker that indicates the 20g. And it didn't get there. I wish I had taken a picture of the box before opening it, but I didn't realize until afterward.

LIKE SIMILAR PRODUCTS, IT DOESN'T DRY OUT IN BETWEEN USES
5/5

The screw-on cap is what distinguishes this as the only "super glue" to buy. The glue is kept from drying out by using a cap with a pin inside. Even though I'd inserted the pin, all other similar glues from other manufacturers had dried out between applications. This one is effective, and the glue is also effective.

I bought a remote for my tv dvd player combo and dropped it. It fell apart, so I put it back together. Sure enough, every time it hits the floor, it takes 20 minutes to put it back together. This time, I used gorilla super glue around the edges of the remote, and it never fell apart again. What I don't understand is that the remote has four holes for screws to hold it together, but there are no screws to be found. If they had put the screws in, the remote would not have.

It works, but it requires precision and patience - Less is more when it comes to decorating
3/5

It works, but getting it done correctly is a challenge. I mean, you have to take things slowly and do them right the first time, as well as be extremely precise; however, I've tried other glues that claim to do the same thing but don't, such as Superglue, not Gorilla Superglue. I'm glad I read other Amazon reviews because I would have been extremely frustrated throughout this process if I hadn't done so. br>br>First and foremost, it's critical that you use a tiny amount of glue. It will bubble over the sides and be unsightly if you do not do so. Before I tried it on the real thing, I'd practice on a piece of cardboard or plastic. Then you must wait at least one minute, if not one and a half minutes - Practice first to get a sense of how much time you'll need; if you don't, it'll all be for naught. br>br>However, it worked; I glued the tip of a Christmas decoration (clear solid plastic piece) back on, and it stayed nice and tight and looked fantastic.
