This is a DR- I purchased the scanner two months ago and it does not work with a MacBook. I've had intermittent problems setting up the printer and communicating with my MacBook since then. It has been an abomination to deal with HP support. I purchased this printer from staples (receipt attached), but I wanted to warn people from getting ripped off from spending too much money, so I wrote a review. Initial setup was problematic and I had to talk to the tech support team for two hours to get it to work. I had intermittent problems with communication with my MacBook during the first two months of use. (Two months later, when I need to scan something important, the scanner will not communicate with my MacBook. ) I can't connect my scanner to my The problem and every fix posted on HP and Apple support have been tried 3 times. After calling HP support 3 more times I finally spent 90 minutes with one guy attempting every fix, including power cycling, deleting and adding the printer, uninstalling / reinstalling the operating system.
