With this printer, I can hide it away and it's completely wireless so I can use it even when I am away from my computer. As a result, I am able to print from any networked computer or device and this makes it incredibly convenient for me when I'm away from the office. Getting it set up was extremely easy. While using the buttons and the tiny screen to type in the wifi network key, that was the most challenging part. It took some trial and error to figure out how to do it. As soon as it appeared in the network, my laptop automatically found and installed it. Compared to my old inkjet, the print quality is much better, and I doubt I will miss the color that much (especially with the cost of ink that dries up before I use it). would be happy with this printer as long as there are no issues, but I will update this review if there are any.

In a nutshell, There is no USB Type A/B cable included in the box I dug through looking for it. Its only con is its high price for this awesomely priced laser printer with plenty of functions. As a result of the no cable debacle, I decided to try out the wireless printing (which has been a steep learning curve on other printers I have had). It was really easy, even with my overlong WIFI password that has special characters in it. The first time I connected the printer wirelessly to my router, it printed a wonderful picture of my dog (printing from my Android phone). The printer was added on my Windows 10 computer by following the same easy steps, and it prints well. The printer prints fast and with A power surge of 470W occurs at first). There are some reports of people experiencing problems with the printer and wifi. The printer's wifi connection may not be the cause of the WiFi issues. My network is stable and I set the type of wifi to DHCP, so that if for some reason they lose their connection the printer will be able to pick up an IP address Some have reported that the printer goes into a deep sleep and cannot be woken up. I've never experienced sleep problems with this printer and I reiterate that my wifi is stable and the signal strength is sufficient. According to the Brother web site, the printer will do exactly that if it loses WiFi connection and can't reconnect with it. It's a great printer for the price and I don't think you can go wrong.

Then, the printer will occasionally print, but sometimes it will not until we turn the machine off or unplug it. When it feels like it, the power button will work. In its current state, it is merely a copier, doing nothing other than copying things that we place on the glass itself. It is a pleasure to own this Brother Laser Printer and I'm impressed with the ease of setup, as well as the quality of the black and white prints.
