This is my 12" gold Macbook running the latest version of OS X. El Capitan is the 11th peak in the chain. I had to spend several minutes trying to figure out how to enter my wifi password into the printer without using the keypad! To say that this is pretty sad would be Despite reading reviews about the difficulty of connecting this printer to wifi, I thought I might be able to figure it out. I read the reviews and knew it would not take more than 20 minutes to set it up to use the WiFi. As before, I connected it to the USB printer cable I had been using and set it up with the Win 7 computer where my former Brother printer was located. After everything went smoothly, a firmware update needed to be installed. That's all right. A little over 40 minutes later, the distance between the install bar and the one-tenth mark had not changed. My original window was still open when I cancelled out, but a second one had opened directly under it. Having already learned one thing from this, I didn't want to learn any more and just wanted to see if the print could be made. As it turned out, yes. Trying to access the Android app I had installed in my first attempt, the app immediately told me I needed to update my My initial thought was that this was great. A quick Google search revealed that the default password is initpass. When I said yes, it asked for a password. There was no indication of a default password in the instructions or on the disc.
