After making less than 50 badges, the machine started giving an empty ink cartridge error message. Despite ordering new cartridges, when we tried to print badges, we were still getting the same error message. Due to the closure of the Amazon return window, I needed to contact the manufacturer, but they were unable to resolve In fact, since the badging is still under warranty, I was instructed to send the machine to a distributor for repairs. Despite our best efforts, our badge maker has not been in the office for more than Our unit is still under warranty, so they will NOT give us a "new" unit. They need to test out the main board with new parts and cannot order them yet. We have asked for a new unit, but they will not accommodate us. We will probably just have to swallow the cost and get a new badge maker from somewhere else at this point.

This printer is very good. Sometimes it does not make the badges perfect, which requires reprinting however, a second time around is always better. The only problems I've encountered are on three or four out of the 50 or so that I've printed so far. Despite what is stated in the model information, this model will not print to the edge, but the little line that will remain is not visible in the end. If you want to eliminate that line, you can buy that model for another hundred dollars. In general, I'm very pleased with this device. I've used it for printing cards in low quantities and it is generally fast and easy to use. I've never encountered a problem using the Badgy software.

This is what I needed for a basic NFC business card. Having gone through such a convoluted setup process, I thought I was now Nevertheless, my Mac failed to see the printer, so I downloaded and updated the drivers. Despite the bundled software, the printer could not be seen. I was finally able to use the printer after spending 15 minutes fiddling with it. By that time, Bodno's software was no longer recognizing the USB dongle (and you have to plug it in to confirm that you own this pointless The Mac version did not work for me. In order to use my PC, I switched to it. Eventually I was able to print on the PC after going through essentially the same set of issues. Preparing my artwork, making sure it was CMYK (reading all instructions regarding best printing), and printing it took a great deal of time and effort. The only thing that happened was nothing. During the check, I made sure everything was correct. An hour of digging led me to realize the ink roll that came with the printer came with issues. After unrolling then rerolling it, I was able to print what I wanted. The printer managed to roll the entire spool in a way that was fine with him. A second attempt was made. FOUR CALENDAR CARDS HAVE BEEN PRINTED FINALLY. I saw only a dark, blurry image with exaggerated colors. The image was so dark, soft (blurry), and the colors were I adjusted the artwork and printed it again with the same outcome. I created a test badge using the Bodno default artwork. In essence, the same. This is a dark, soft image, with colors that differ greatly from the perfect colors in my Honestly, this thing is a total waste of time. For our employees, I bought ioProx cards printed on our company's letterhead. With the printer, you will get a consistent output for a reasonable price. With a printer of this cost you're not going to get an amazingly bright print, but it does a good job and looks clear. Except for the USB drive requirement when printing, there are no complaints except for the licensing issue. You're required to insert the USB drive every time the program runs on your computer. is the only product I use that does this, and I find it to be very annoying. Having said that, once the software is setup, it's pretty easy to use.

Although I love the product, I do not recommend the customer service for this company. I had a problem with my previous machine, and even after 17 emails, no one picked up the 800 number or live chat for me, so just be aware if you encounter problems.
