This is the fourth time I've faxed something to you. A copier and a telephone answering system are also available. By far the most user-friendly, with a smaller footprint on the desktop and high-quality sound and printing. This book comes highly recommended.
It's no different with this item. All of the functions function as expected. It saves money by using "printing film" (for copies and faxes) instead of paper. Of course, the more faxes and copies you make, the faster it will run out. br>br>I've added four more "remote hand sets" to my collection (quantity: four). 2 KXTGA520M (quantity: 2) KXTGA523M (KXTGA523M x 2 = KXTGA523M For my office, I also bought the Headset KXTCA92). br>br>I've had this system for ten months and everything works perfectly! The calls are clear as a bell. The conference is a fantastic idea; It keeps track of more than 30 "missed" calls (which I usually delete). I've only had to replace the replaceable film on one occasion. I probably fax and copy once or twice a week. All of the phones have excellent battery life. I've had conference calls that lasted up to 5 hours (thank goodness for the headset), and when I hung up, the battery still showed three full bars. br>br>To see who's calling, there's a nice backlight. When the phone rings, there is also a pleasant female digital voice who announces who is calling. This feature may appear insignificant, but it works on every handset in the house, so you don't have to be close to the "main terminal" to hear it. The female voice says "number available" but does not read the number if the caller does not allow caller ID but allows their call number to be displayed. If their "name" comes up, it will read their name and pronounce it correctly about 85% of the time. For example, a phone call from "Dan will come up. Although "Angela Dickens" is correctly pronounced, a call from "UNICOM" is pronounced "u-. " Rather than U-, use "come. " COM. br>br>Here's the only disadvantage: When a telemarketer calls and the number is "888," you can press the "off" button to silence the phone. It does not, however, prevent ALL of the other phones from ringing. As I previously stated, I purchased four additional handsets to be placed around the house so that you can hear the other phones ring after you turn them off. I consider a minor annoyance to be a minor flaw in the feature set as a whole. br>br>At the same time, the distance allowed from the "main terminal" is excellent. I've been on conference calls while walking to my mailbox outside, which is about 700 feet away, and there has been no signal loss or degradation. I'm not sure what the manufacturer's specifications are, but I believe that is sufficient for almost any home or small office. br>br>To summarize, I've owned three of these types of "all in one" phone systems in the last ten years, and this model (and its accessories) are excellent! I strongly advise everyone to read it!.
This, along with three additional handsets, were purchased to replace a broken fax machine and an older cordless phone system that I didn't care for. It has excellent sound quality. Checking voicemail directly from any of the handsets is one of my favorite features. br>br>I have two suggestions for improving this system: (1) Provide a good old corded handset for the base unit, and (2) provide better battery technology for the cordless handsets, such that they can be left on their chargers for the majority of the time rather than being strongly advised to wait until the batteries have discharged to a certain level. br>br>Make no mistake, this is an excellent system. I've never had a better cordless phone system than this. It comes highly recommended from me.
I became a member of VONAGE. VONAGE rendered my home's telephone wiring useless, so I needed a phone that could work wirelessly. I purchased one additional extension. It's worked out quite well. The 5. The 8-gigabyte capacity ensures that my tiny home is well-covered. When calling to check messages, the Toll Saver feature does not work for me - It could be the phone or something to do with VONAGE, but I had to set the phone to five rings in order to check my messages. Toll Saver would be better if it worked properly, but other than that, it's a good product. I don't send faxes very often, but when I do, it goes smoothly - Any issues I'm having might be due to the VONAGE/phone interface, once again.
We purchased this unit about a year ago, and for the first few months, it appeared to be in good working order. It's great for making phone calls. We don't get faxes very often, so it's difficult to tell when something went wrong, but the paper now feeds in crooked, preventing the fax from being completed, so it's stored. There isn't a single instruction in the book about how to receive a fax that has been saved. The onscreen notes instruct us to check the ink, which we do, but it is ineffective. We've made the decision to toss it in the trash and replace it with a Brother. The last Brother we had was in perfect working order. We thought switching to Panasonic would be a good idea.
I did a lot of research before purchasing this item, but I ultimately chose it due to its 5. Cordless phone and fax with an 8GHZ frequency. When I first got the machine, I was intimidated by all of the features, but I quickly discovered that it is extremely user friendly. It has simple menus and even includes help material that can be printed directly from the fax machine. Even when used near a computer, reception on the phone is crystal clear. The faxes I've gotten have also been very clear. The only drawback to this system is that it only comes with one extender phone, and additional phones can be costly. Having said that, I am extremely pleased with my purchase and would purchase this system again in a heartbeat.
This is an amazing machine. I had originally bought the Sharp UX600 but returned it because it appeared to be a toy. The panasonic has a solid, long-lasting feel to it. You can also use the handset to download your favorite ringtones. The handset was a little bulky, so I didn't give it 5 stars. It was larger than the sharp by a factor of two. In general, the handset's features outweigh its shortcomings. Perhaps Panasonic will release a new model with a slimmer handset in the future.
My main goal with this phone was to combine our cordless landline and a fax machine that we didn't have space for. The cordless phone is a fantastic invention. Everything was simple to set up, including voicemail. Incoming faxes have good fax quality. It isn't outstanding, but it isn't bad either. If you want to keep crisp details, don't rely on this machine to double as a copy machine. Overall, I'm very pleased with this purchase.
