I recently purchased a Panasonic Fax KX-KX-KX-KX-KX-KX I have the FP 145 and am very pleased with it. On the downside, it has a speed-control system that is overly complicated. function of the dial In addition, you must press a PLAY button that is not located next to the flashing indicator light in order to listen to messages on the answering machine - The answering machine function will be turned off if you press the button next to the flashing light. Not very user-friendly, and a departure from Panasonic's previous models' layout. I also dislike how the display continues to show me how many new calls it has received since - It's just a pointless figure that keeps increasing. For a home user, there are a few too many functions. It does, however, have a pleasing appearance and a small footprint.
The fax machine, telephone, and answering machine are all simple to operate. It's easy to type faxes while listening to the speaker phone. Incoming faxes, on the other hand, do not make me happy. Even after adjustments, they don't always print clearly or darkly enough. If I had to do it all over again, I believe I would have purchased one with a real ink printer.
A received fax's quality is poor, making it difficult to read. It would no longer send faxes after a few days, the document would stop transmitting, and the readout would say "document jammed. " It was sent to a Panasonic service center for $16, and it will be interesting to see how long it takes to receive it back. br>Caveat emptor is a phrase that means "beware of what you're getting yourself into. " br>br>I had it shipped to a Panasonic service center in Fort Worth, Texas. Worth is a city in Texas. on the third day of January Today, March 19, I finally received it. Wow! What an incredible level of customer service!!.
When I first got this a few years ago, the roller was quickly worn out.
This machine is 6yrs old and it still works 100%, which is a good solid product. This is a fantastic buy if you need a low-cost fax with good quality.
There were few options for an all-in-one fax and answering machine because they were difficult to come by. This model is attractive, compact, and simple to use. I'm having trouble with the print and there are too many pages going through; however, I believe it's due to my paper quality, and I'm confident that once I get the suggested paper, everything will be fine; my current paper is too thick. It appeals to me, and I believe the price is reasonable.
This is my second Panasonic Fax machine, and it outperforms my previous one, which was several years old. This one, unlike my other, has an answering machine built in, which I really like. All of the functions are simple to use.
