A cartridge error can be caused by a number of factors, including an incorrectly seated cartridge, a printer reading error, or a carriage issue. It has a variety of customizability options and can be used while an answering machine is in use. My only gripe is that it lacks a "Save Fax" option (or at least I haven't found one) for when and if it runs out of paper. For the price, this is a fantastic deal.
I bought this for a senior citizen who isn't very tech-savvy. I wanted something that she could use quickly. It was a huge plus for her that she could make copies on regular paper rather than the old thermo fax machine she had. The machine is not only attractive, but it is also simple to use. It pleases her, and it pleases me as well. I would strongly recommend it because it is simple to use and the ink costs are comparable to the machine's price.

It's fantastic.
Everything was present and undamaged when the package was opened. It kept saying paper jam during setup, which was the only minor issue. I'm not sure why it took so long to resolve. The phone is a little on the small side, but it's adequate. It would have been a five-star experience if the machine had a loud speaker. Faxes are nice and fold up small, but you can't dial in when they're small, which would have been a nice feature to have.
This is the same model as our previous one, which we loved, but it stopped working after a piece came loose inside.
It is critical that you READ THE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY. IT PERFORMS EXACTLY AS IT SHOULD.
This model used to be one of our favorites. We couldn't find a simple-to-use model when we needed a new fax. This one was purchased from Amazon. It was on time and in good condition when it arrived. This fax has made us very happy.
