It's a great fax machine, but it's not a scanner for the network. You'll get more bang for your buck if you get an "all-in" package. copier, scanner, and printer all in one" If you need to send a fax, do so. In the same price range, HP and Dell both have some excellent options.
Hello, durms are fairly simple to replace. Fuser is a little more difficult to master, but it is possible. The drum can be purchased as item DR400 from Amazon, Staples, and other retailers.

This is a fax machine, and it does its job admirably. We receive 200 faxes per day, and our other machine, a three-in-one (HP brand), was quickly out of its league, despite being very good at other things (copies and printing). Following extensive research, the Brother is introduced. And let me say, we are no longer slaves to the fax machine. This thing is a beast! it's a quiet beast, a fast beast, and an easy to use beast. we love the memory because we can just keep entering the faces (up to 50 pages I believe) while it receives and sends faxes, which was huge for us because we had to enter then wait until it was finished, then wait again if one was received on the 3 in one. You can see why I referred to myself as a fax slave. The keyboard is a joy to use, with large nicely placed keys, a full owner's manual (very rare these days) nice to have for those times you need to look something up that you don't normally do, and easy loading paper. (We are a communications business (email, fax, messaging) for Amish businesses. ) When the power goes out, the battery backs up and can hold up to 500 pages before printing when the power comes back on. Yes, we would say that as a fax machine, this one performs admirably. We're going to get another one as an outgoing machine, but we'll keep the three-in-one for email printing. Overall, we would highly recommend this machine if you require a hardworking fax machine for office use.
The machine was cleaned and the toner was replaced. There is no mention of a new drum. I contacted Brother Customer Service, who informed me that the drum needed to be replaced. The drum is covered by a 90-day warranty, but the entire machine is covered by a one-year warranty. Brother wanted to charge more than $220 for a new drum, which may or may not solve the problem and is only one-time use. It's half the cost of the whole machine! If the new drum does not solve the problem, you will have wasted over $220!.
Cartridges for Brother printers. The machine is fantastic, and I've never had a problem with it in all the years I've had it in my law firm, and the price is fantastic for what you get. (I paid $4,700 for my first fax in the 1970s. ) 00 and was unable to make a comparable comparison. Take a chance!.
The copy is scanned quickly into the device in preparation for transmission. Documents with multiple pages were almost never, if ever, misplaced. fed. Speed dial (10) and manual entry are both options for dialing phone numbers. It is possible to send data in batches. If Brother OEM parts were used, the toner and drum life was satisfactory or even better than expected. This machine is highly recommended for medium-sized businesses, such as mine, because it can handle the workload. Neither this Amazon-sponsored event nor the Amazon-sponsored event Neither the purchased unit nor the one before it needed to be repaired.
Faxes are sent/received quickly and are very easy to use. The other machine had done its job well, but it was beginning to show its age. For us, the 4750 was an excellent choice.
I was hesitant at first about the price of this fax machine; after all, aren't fax machines so last century? But we needed something for the business, and I've had far too many bad fax machines to try to save money here. This machine scans documents at a high rate while remaining completely silent. I also use it as a copier for documents on occasion. The machine is substantial in weight and construction. This is likely to be the last fax machine I own.
It was dependable, which is probably why I didn't consider other alternatives. I chose this fax because I needed one with a higher page capacity. Now that I think about it, I'm sorry I waited so long. Unlike my previous fax machine, this one can hold a lot of paper. in comparison to 75, there are over 200 sheets. It has never clogged up to this point. br>br>Unlike my older model, this machine feeds faxes quickly and efficiently. where each page only processed at the same time and speed as what was going on on the other end- The pages are fed quickly as a result of this. The faxes I receive are also crisp and clear. br>br>There is plenty of room for receiving faxes, which I need because we're sometimes out of the office for two or three days at a time. br>br>This machine makes quick copies; You simply feed the pages into the machine, much like a fax machine, and the copies are made. br>br>In general, I'm pleased with this purchase.
This is the second one I've bought for commercial use. The first lasted for more than ten years and was put to a lot of use on a daily basis. The rollers eventually gave out, making it difficult to feed documents through the machine. In comparison to some of the less expensive "home" models on the market, the extra cost is well worth it.
