The microphone was the only thing I was not expecting in the pack. According to the instructions, I did not have any problems plugging the mic into my MacBook Pro. I thought perhaps it might have been a problem with the computer so I tried it on a Windows 7 machine. The light came on, but the mic did not appear in the audio settings as it should. I am still not able to install a driver. Furthermore, I also attempted using a different port and cable, though I got the same results. The microphone I purchased from Blue was different from the one I sent back. I bought a Blue Yeti straight from Blue and noticed that the one listed here had some differences. As I am not an expert, I cannot say that this is a fake, but something seems wrong.
Initially, the microphone worked for about an hour, but then stopped working. In my opinion, this bundle does not feel like a real yeti at all. It doesn't feel solid at all, like the ones I used at Best Buy. Please keep this in mind.
The majority of the time, I really like this mic, but lately it seems like this mic (and only this mic) makes me sound like I have a lisp (makes S sound like T). Testing with multiple microphones at the same time and examining the individual recordings shows that it's solely this mic that’s causing the problem. It will absolutely cripple my ability to use the microphone if I cannot find any support for this issue. It is, however, wonderful other than that.
There's some messing around with the pop filter to find a balance that doesn't drop down, and the boom arm seems a bit cheaper than other options. Even though the shock mount fits fine, I still get radio feedback when I touch my desk, so I don't know how effective it is. Though the blue yeti is my favorite! There is no better yeti than the blue yeti. Although there are a number of programs you can use to fully optimize how great this microphone is, it can nevertheless be used alone without processing.
I was ready to go in approximately five As I am starting a podcast, this mic is the one I have seen most recommended. This kit makes it easy for me to start recording right away!.
This is a very cheap microphone that is not strong enough to hold a microphone. Apart from that, everything else worked as well. In the end, I ended up having to purchase a roadie mic boom because buying this bundle didn't save me any money. Buying everything separately will save you time.
The boom arm was the only item included in my order when it arrived. After I ordered the package, it was a good deal. A pop filter is not present. There will be no shocks Hence the name. Please do not use a cellphone. In addition, most of the parts of the boom arm are of very poor My first attempt to manipulate the springs caused one to come loose and embed itself in the floor. My eye, especially if it struck me directly, could have been severely injured. As far as the refund is concerned, Amazon helped.
Overall, I am very pleased with this product. The stand that holds the microphone is a little flimsy, but the microphone itself is very good. I feel overall, the stand is not as well made as the microphone. The "padding" on the stand is not properly glued on, it slides when hot, and the noise level is higher. If you use a $1 phone case for a $1000 phone, it's the equivalent of using a penny for a penny. I can't guarantee it will be protected. The microphone is connected to that device. The sound quality is fantastic, the interface is so easy to use and looks so.
