The soundboard and hanging microphone are separated by approximately 200 feet of cable, and during an outdoor service on the lawn, I added another 100 feet of cable to make the distance even greater.

Having the microphones on the ceiling over the choir area was a great idea since they picked up the sound beautifully. It's hard to believe something so small has the power it does. By modifying our choir sound for less than $300, we were able to improve it by 100 percent.
This is exactly what I was looking for.
This is an excellent product. There is enough for an entire choir to be recorded.
My school choir has 60 members, so I use two of these. They've been assembled on mic stands for indoor and outdoor use, and just recently hung over the stage to use. I can't turn them up very much before getting feedback because they are very sensitive. In spite of this, I can still achieve a natural balance between In this case, mics reproduce the sound that is actually produced by the choir, and that is really all one can ask of them.
