Questions & Answers

Are these kinds of microphones compatible with computers if they are used with phantom power?

Jeff, you do not need phantom power, but you will need a way to input the signal into the This means that you will need a preamp with a USB connection. Buying from Amazon may prove helpful to you, if this was helpful. As well as providing support after the sale, we can help. There is a stock of it and it is Audio Generation Pack for Pixel Pro

Do I have to buy the cord separately with this microphone or does it come with one?

There is a cord that comes with the mic.

The e935 with a blue ring in the photos appears to be different from the e935 with a black ring in the photos, correct?

Although I don't know what it is, I like the black e935 I am a mezzo-soprano and this is much better than Electro Voice or Shure mics I have. It is used as a soprano and for jazz, pop, and other genres

Selected User Reviews For Sennheiser Pro Audio e935 Cardioid Dynamic Handheld Mic

Wow, look at that! I have been a singer and guitarist my entire life
5/5

I have fronted several bands throughout my career. In my current band (and last band), we have each been using a different mic since we started playing In the past, I have relied on the indestructible Shure SM 58 Beta for everything, and we also had a Shure SM 58 and an EV something, as well as a cheap Audio Technica (drummers). I know. Sheesh). Having had a beta for 12 years or more is nothing new to me. My life depends on them. Well, let me just put it this way. Those are the ones I swear by. participating in an online band forum and the issue of microphones Most of the musicians stated that this was the mic to get. I'm old and open to learning new things, but I'll make one with your help. One of them was bought for me. This one is marked as refurbished and I purchased it for $129 from Amazon. My eyes are stunned by the brand new look of 00. 2 weeks ago I was able to take it to a rehearsal. It was plugged into my trusty beta along with my voice. I sang a few bars into every What a shocker. The sound from this Sennheiser is so clear and crisp. It has been said that these headphones sound bright or even tinny in some reviews. Your EQ will be transformed as soon as you adjust it. I had to redial my mix a little, but as soon as I did, the difference was so overwhelming that the lead guitarist ordered a copy that night. Now that I have a backup for my trusty Beta, I always have it with me. If I ever need it, I will never be able to afford Thank you for your understanding As fun as it was, it was short-lived.

The clarity and versatility of the information
5/5

As a 3 piece, we are a family band. My daughter is 15 and has a nice contralto without putting too much power into it. It is difficult for my son, 13, to adjust to his voice change, which went from an alto to a The song has a lot of power, however, and the pitch is perfect. With regard to myself, I am a bassist who can easily go above the threshold. Our repertoire includes songs from the Obladi era to the present There are dozens of classic rock and jazz tunes available, from Obladia to Fly Me To The Moon. There are some things we scream at, and some things Furthermore, each person does not have their own microphone. It's because each of us plays four, five, or six instruments at the same time and we switch them frequently. There is almost always a different arrangement for each song. There are times when we sing lead and there are times when we sing backup. So now that you understand what I am talking about, I want to tell you that I just purchased one of those seinheisers. In order to replace the old EV 967, I believe it was number 967, we wanted to try this one out. The EV was fantastic for us. Using the Bose L2 system, we put them through the There is a tune controller on it. It helps a lot to define what hardware you plug into it thanks to that little controller. In the EV, that was the case. My first experience with the Seinheiser was good. There is a radiant quality to There are no doubts about its clarity, its vibrancy and its accuracy. Studying the blending, dynamics, articulations, and harmonies is a requirement. There is no sound we cannot hear. Seinheiser's project pays close attention to every little detail. As such, I purchased another three of the Seinheiser e935's. Four of them are on the drums, two on the bass, one on the guitar and one on the keyboard. They are all adjusted the same way We used the same volume, the same EQ, the same trim and the Their love for us is unconditional. Aside from that, they are quite It feels like they are made with I have made sure that my children are careful with the equipment in general, but they're still kids with adult sizes and a clumsy bunch. There haven't been any movements on those microphones. With the same characteristics, they remain the same. It's not the first time they've been dropped, bumped, or slapped. Despite the odds, they continue to do well. During the week, we do three rehearsals. It's been a blast, these Seinheisers have been a real help to me. In doing so, it forces us to think about what we're singing. This recording is clear and unmuddy. If we can manage it, we'll play just plain music.

The e935 vs Beta58a is equivalent to the indecision
5/5

As a first step, let us consider the direct competitors You can get the Shure Beta58a here. A microphone with a great range and dynamic range, a good presence and excellent off-axis performance There are few axis rejections, and the quality of the build is good. Despite the fact that they're not very pretty, it doesn't matter If you'd like the Beta58a, however, you can get this for the same price. There seems to be a similar sound signature to the Beta58a on this just some clean-up work was performed This song's vocal presence is a bit more clear the off-key melody is a bit more distinct A small amount of axis rejection has been improved, and both dynamics and presence are present. There is almost something terrifying about how direct these two can be with each other. The microphone design class may have been a place where cheating took place. Lastly, when it comes to design, the Sennheiser e935 is very stunning, so if that's a concern, there you have it.

The quality of the sound is good for vocalists with a medium range, or high range
5/5

We are a metal band that features two guitarists and a bassist who like to play loud with me as mezzo soprano vocalist. As a singer, my goal is to be heard above all the noise made by the guys. Despite its small size, this microphone can do the job quite It is rare for me to get feedback from this mic. The quality of this mic is actually better than most of the mics at the venues that we play at, so I oftentimes will bring it with me and replace their mics with it. The sound is very good, it is rich in quality, and it can pick up high notes well if I need to do so. Thank you for having this mic as my first professional mic, I am sure I will gain a lot of experience from it before I get another I only have one complaint it doesn't have an on/off switch, but I've gotten used to that fairly Please note EDIT I have used this microphone at a variety of different venues, and I found that this mic started picking up on my drummer's snare and kit if I was directly in front of him, which can be a little tricky all I can say about it.

Be sure to do your research before making a purchase! My overall impression of this mic was very positive
4/5

This cover captured my voice highly well, since I'm a soprano. Although I did not know that your interface must have the same impedance as your speakers to get the best sound quality, I should have looked into this. An impedance is a measurement of how much power is put back into the interface by the microphone. It is possible for the mic to override the system and cause feedback if its impedance is higher than the interface. It was only on the day my package was set to arrive that I found out this, so my advice is to make sure you use a headset that is on the same level or higher than the microphone As of now, I am using a Forsurite Scarlett 3rd Gen, which has a 200-ohm impedance, but this mic has a 350-ohm impedance. This leads to the interface not being able to handle the mic well. If you have the right interface, I am sure this mic will work fine. I am going to get a Shure 55sh II Gen. While the price is the same and the range is slightly lower, it has an impedance of 150 ohms, which is perfect. I typically do not write reviews for products, but I felt I had to do it so that others wouldn't make the same mistake as My guess is that you would be able to use this mic without any problems if you have the right interface! Your help is greatly appreciated!.
