Is it the snare with regular vents or the one with oversized vents that has the most crack and the least wire buzz?

Depending on what you like, I changed the head right away and added some moon gels. This snare is great, as are the graphics. If you are looking for a good deal, I strongly recommend this product.

An excellent value for the money

As a wood shell drum, I found this snare to be well constructed and extremely affordable. Since I had replaced the heads, I was able to inspect the quality of the construction, which I found to be quite good. The only critique I'd have for this is that the snare wires were a little thin (for my tastes), so I did replace them as well with 20 strand ones. It was a good purchase in the end.

A design that grabs your attention right away

My set felt fuller with this snare as it added flair. I was praised for it during a new years eve performance, and even without amplification this thing managed to cut through the rest of the noise Vents that are oversized do make a difference when it comes to sound. Although the snare throw off was a bit stiff, it was not a major concern. The batter head was replaced with a remo power stroke so that it has even more power!.

I think this is a great deal

From the moment you take it out of the box, it works like a charm. The change in the batter head and a minor adjusting of the tuning would fool you into thinking this snare costs With strong crack and pops and good overtones, it sounds exceptionally pleasing to the ear.

With this snare drum's looks and feel, it sounds awesome. It has a fat open sound that is deep but short-lived like a subwoofer. The punches are strong!.

That's a nice snare

This is the second Griffen I have purchased. The two of them have left a lasting impression on me. It's not pro gear, but with a little tweaking it can be useful as a practice tool, and this one is limited in production, so it's also a nice presentation.
