Getting the stand set up was a bit of a puzzle for me, but I think it turned out well in the end. I have never owned a stand with as many pieces as this one. Getting it adjusted is a little bit of a hassle, since there are four different areas that can be adjusted and moved The higher model might be better if you like traveling and playing gigs quite a bit. The adjustments look a bit easier too. Apparently, the stand shown now is different from the one I received, but once set up, I find it to be sturdy and sturdy.
