The original drum I bought was a 22" Ocean drum, and I had to return it for a 16". As a female 5'5", I found the 22" a bit difficult to handle (control), it was too big for me. The 22" is also an inch narrower than 12", which makes it harder to hold.
The dimensions of the canvas are 22" x 2". The number five. The 15" is not clear to me The models that they have are smaller, so be sure you choose the right one.

I finally got this drum after it has been on my wish list for some time now. The drum is one of my favorite instruments. There is a LOT more POWER and loudness in the sound than I anticipated. As pictured, a different remo seal has been stamped on the head (the traditional crown, not the one shown in the picture).
