Selected User Reviews For Yamaha YAC 1617 Gold Lacquer Baritone Saxophone Ligature (YAC-1617)
A good, basic ligature with a lot of consistency.
I bought it for my beginner son's Yamaha YAC1295 5C Standard Bari Saxophone Mouthpiece, and it fits perfectly. I don't play, so I can't comment on it.
" However, I was told that only Yamaha 5C ligatures would fit a 5C mouthpiece (which is only for Bari sax), so it's all good. Yamaha is, in my opinion, the best choice if you won't be using it much, say for 10 years down the road or something, and you're looking for an affordable option. To be safe, if you purchase a Yamaha 5C mouthpiece, you should also purchase the ligature. I just got it, and everything is fine: ) Affordability in terms of quality.
When the screw was attached to the mouthpiece, it bent.
This is a nice ligature, but it was too big for my daughter's mouthpiece. I returned it and went to my neighborhood music store to find one that worked.
Everything was exactly as described. He loved it. So was I!.
I bought a used Yamaha 52 with a bad ligature, but this one is a fantastic product at a great price.
YEAH BUDDY, YEAH BUDDY, YEAH BUDDY.
