A ligature like this is unusual, but it can offer even contact of a reed against the mouthpiece, is extremely easy to place and remove, is extremely easy to adjust, and can be used as is without any fuss. After you get it snugged into place and you place the reed, you just play and you get a solid, clear tone. These are the ones I use on my soprano, alto, As a side note, the Klassik mouthpiece that is made for alto also fits tenor mouthpieces.

Two sliding string windings are used to tighten it. There is a sense of security when the reed is in the bag. As far as I know, there are no "interchangeable pressure plates. ". With this, it does not make sense and there must be an error in labeling.

I like the ligature you used. While the mouthpiece cap is too large, the rest of the mouthpiece is just right. This cap actually fits an alto V16 jazz piece, although it's designed for soprano parts. I don't know what went wrong when the wrong cap was packaged with the lig.

I bought it by chance for my soprano. This allows fast changes of tricky intervals, helps the reed vibrate properly and has an easy on/off motion. Vandoren, you did a fantastic job on this! Throughout the years, Dave Wilson has become a household name.
