You don't get a ligature with it. I highly recommend it even though it is an extremely good mouth piece.

Jazz mouthpiece that is great for all situations. The music I have played over the course of my career has been quite high-quality My favorite Vandoren Java T75 and T95 pieces are always the high-end custom pieces. As far as mouthpieces are concerned, there is no holy grail. Get to know your long tones and try to use a consistently excellent off-axis tone This is the This is the Vandoren Java shelf.

I like the mouthpiece you've chosen

The mouthpiece is very nice. The blowing is free, but the tone is full. This is what I use for small combo work, and I use my Link 7 metal for larger groups where more volume is needed.

However, I'm looking for a more dark more worm-like tone. If you are looking for a clearer brighter sounding mouth piece, then this is perfect, but I'm looking for a more dark, more worm-like.
