In the event that it doesn't come with a stock lig (beside the stock lig) then you know how difficult it can be to find one that fits Those who use a Dukoff alto mouthpiece and have tried to find a ligature to fit it (besides the stock ligature) know how difficult it is to find one that fits

Save yourself the time and money by not looking any further. I found this ligature to be very effective and well suited to I like the fit and it does the job, although it's not perfect. I really like how affordable they are, and how great the quality is. It's always been my recommendation to get a Rovner ligature since they are so strong and will last a lifetime if taken care of. If you use Dukoff, this is a great investment. Metal ligatures can scratch it up, so investing in this is a very wise decision.

It's a really good price! My dental treatment includes Rovner ligatures, which I have been using for over It is always a pleasure to see them create such beautiful In order to make a good decision, I thought I would not spend a large amount of money on a trial run. To use it with the Morgan Excalibur alto mouthpiece, I bought the Star Series SS2M. I really like how the playing response fits well with the fitting. The timbre is very even throughout each range of my saxophone and the response is also very nice from the lowest to the highest pitch. This is the best deal you can get for the money! The Rovner VERSA ligatures are much better than the SS2M, the mouthpiece I use with my Claude Lakey mouthpiece, but they are more expensive. I intend to continue using the SS2M as it works fine. If you play the sax or clarinet, one of the Rovner ligatures is perfect!.

The mouthpieces did not fit standard rubber alto mouthpieces

I had to replace my son's rubber mouthpiece as it did not fit. A statement that it was only for metal mouthpieces is not mentioned in the listing. It was very unclear if it did.
