The only job a ligature has is to attach two parts together. You have to believe what Ju- In order to hold the reed in place on your mouthpiece, you ought to have a ligature as well, unless you play exclusively with your left hand. Since I started playing bass clarinet in earnest again, it came with a Rovner lig, and I liked it so much that I got one for each clarinet that I own. The majority of people I talk to compliment me on my tone because of my preference for Rovner ligatures. I like how the cap serves its purpose and is reasonably secure once it's on. In the end, the item was noticed to be mislabeled after it had been returned twice and received the same item each time. I would have enjoyed playing the bass clarinet if I had it. We are glad that the problem has been resolved!.
As far as the actual item goes, it's It was not indicated that the mouthpiece cover would be included in the description. There is a mouthpiece cover included, but I was not aware of that and had to order.
