The mouthpiece that holds the reed in place When you take a break, the cap will protect your reed and keep the moisture in

The only job a ligature has is to attach two parts together. You have to believe what Ju- In order to hold the reed in place on your mouthpiece, you ought to have a ligature as well, unless you play exclusively with your left hand. Since I started playing bass clarinet in earnest again, it came with a Rovner lig, and I liked it so much that I got one for each clarinet that I own. The majority of people I talk to compliment me on my tone because of my preference for Rovner ligatures. I like how the cap serves its purpose and is reasonably secure once it's on. Their performance is vastly superior to a dual-fuel vehicle Growing up, I was always forced to use screw ligatures.

I think this ligature is great
4/5

I'm really happy with the price! My dental treatment includes Rovner ligatures, which I have been using for over It is always a pleasure to see them create such beautiful In order to make a good decision, I thought I would not spend a large amount of money on a trial run. In order to use the Dukoff 7 alto mouthpiece, I bought the Star Series SS1R. The playing response works very well for me and it fits really well. The timbre is very even throughout each range of my saxophone and the response is also very nice from the lowest to the highest pitch. This is the best deal you can get for the money! As for ligatures, I prefer the Rovner VERSA ligatures, which I use with a Claude Lakey mouthpiece, but they're more expensive. I plan to continue using the SS1R as it's very effective. If you play the sax or clarinet, one of the Rovner ligatures is perfect!.

Originaly intended for Alto You sax! As I recall, this was described as an alto sax ligature when I purchased it
3/5

In the end, the item was noticed to be mislabeled after it had been returned twice and received the same item each time. I would have enjoyed playing the bass clarinet if I had it. We are glad that the problem has been resolved!.
