Questions & Answers

Fits a mouthpiece of any kind with this ligature?

In my opinion, yes, since the reed is flexible and the treads can be adjusted. The mouthpiece fits perfectly on my Buttet.

What if the mouthpiece is not fitted with a cap?

There is a mouthpiece cover included in the package.

Does it only work with rubber mouthpieces or is ABS also compatible with it?

The size should be the same as long as it's the right size. To complete the project, you need to get all It was missing the nut on mine. Since metal mouthpieces have a tiny diameter, it probably would not tighten on such a device.

Do you have a tenor saxophone mouthpiece for the Jody super jet tenor saxophone? Would you mind if I thanked ?

The one I bought was for an alto sax and it worked perfectly. As for purchasing the tenor mouthpiece for the tenor sax, you would have to purchase the tenor size. I am not sure about the size of the jody super jet tenor mouthpiece, so I am not much help.

I was able to get exactly what I needed
5/5

The mouthpiece I have worked just fine with the old ligatures I had, but not the new ones. I have a box of different ligatures that none of them It can be tricky to determine the size of a ligature that fits your mouthpiece. The dimensions that matter are as follows. ABR* Bor X- Range of the axis (horizontal) Seven eighteen thousandths of an inch 1 inch Three sixteenths of an inch A 16 mm diameter)*Y-br The following axis (vertical) range is available A quarter-inch A 1-in. (25 mm) diameter shaft measures 81 mm in length. mm)*These measurements refer to As long as the front fits where you want it aligned, I found that the slightly larger diameter at the rear will also fit the conical shape of the mouthpiece. There is an extremely thin saxophone mouthpiece that has been made on a large scale, very expensive, custom, hand-made, TENOR (not alto) saxophone that I need this for. Despite its low price, I was looking for a ligature that would fit perfectly
I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of materials and construction of this device, and it is capable of doing everything it is supposed to. Moreover, it has little protection tabs under the screw, which will ensure that the top of your mouthpiece will not be scratched. Those who create my custom mouthpiece warned me the only metal ligatures that would do would make it into our history books. It is with respect that I disagree with him after 56 years of playing. Fit is important and how well the reed is held securely to the table of the mouthpiece by the fitting. key to tightening ligatures made from leather or imitation leather is to maintain pressure on the underside of the ligature with your thumb so that it's firmly pressed against the mouthpiece table. I am confident you will be as happy as I was with the final result.

Saxophone ligatures are almost perfect
4/5

This is almost the perfect one. I appreciate that you've made this product so sturdy, that it's easy to attach and remove, that the ribbed design makes it harder to accidentally knock your reed out of alignment, and it comes with a mouthpiece cap that fits snugly over it. Honestly, the smell is the only reason I docked one star from the score. There is an awful smell in here. The air had to be let out for two hours I had to put it under my nose while playing my saxophone for three days before I could even stand that. It still stinks now. In the past I have tried different ways to remove the chemical smell such as rubbing alcohol, but unfortunately that They'll be on top of the world if they figure out how to combat that awful odor. It is not much cheaper, but honestly, for the price, it doesn't sound like you could There's just no denying the fact that it's delicious, even in spite of.

There was an important part missing from the box
3/5

It did not have a If it is not present, the product is worthless! In order to make the screw and nut fit better, I transferred the screw and nut from another Rovner of the same size. There was a slight difference in size between the screw on this unit and the Rovner, so I had to switch them There's no way to know if this is a problem with Amazon or the manufacturer!.

I like the ligature better than the metal one
5/5

The metal ligatures that usually come with mouthpieces are much more cumbersome to use. My Otto Link 5 fits perfectly with this attachment, and it's not too tight, nor too loose, and with just one screw, it's able to hold the reed securely and snugly in place. It did have a lot of resin excess where it was stitched together, which I found not to be attractive, but also did not adversely affect its durability.

That's a good looking man! Despite the exterior appearing to be leather, the ligature is made of good materials and is made of good quality
5/5

It would only be helpful if you could mention on the description that this ligature is sold The reason I ordered a separate mouthpiece cover for this type of ligature was that I had not considered that it was required.

Ligatures like this are fine
3/5

In recent months, I have purchased an alto sax and wasn't happy with the ligature it came with. As I am concerned that it might be defective, I have just ordered the replacement. It's no different here, and I'll use the one that came with the saxophone. The product is not something I would ever buy.

This is a great This is a great The reed is easy to use and it has a great seal to the I have played the game for many hours and the mechanics still work well
4/5

An excellent value for the cost. Great for players just starting out trying to develop a good sound and tone while being extremely functional for players of all levels. My arsenal of ligatures can vary depending on the mouthpiece I'm using but this is always one of my favorites.
