He considers this to be a superior bow to his previous Brazilwood bow, which became warped after only a year. This bow is simple to rosin, has a lot of hair, and produces a consistent, smooth sound. For beginners, this is a must-have bow.
Don't be hesitant to purchase this one and keep the Brazilianwood as a backup. My daughter loves it; she just says it's "easier" to play with because it's easier to bow with, has more comfortable fittings, and has better hair. I've tried it out and think it's fine for a student, especially since I usually use a $500 Jonpaul bow.
What a lovely and useful little bow you've created. The tension adjustment is very effective, especially on the high-end models. It goes beyond expectations in terms of tension. It does, however, require a lighter Amber rosin than usual. I think it's a great deal, and even though I'm not playing a standard violin with it, I think the short video will suffice.
On violin electric, it keeps giving me a warm, kind, and cute sound.
I've been playing the violin for a year and a half. Because this bow was less expensive than having my bow re-haired, I decided to purchase it. I decided to give it a shot, despite my hair being a mess. I'm so happy I did. It gave the sound a lot more depth and responsiveness.
