Designed to fit potentiometers with fine-spline shafts, these knobs fit 24 Here are pictures of different EMG pots I'm looking at It is unclear to me what type of shafts they have (24 fine-splines or 16 coarse-splines The curve). As such, my advice would be to determine the type of shaft on your pots, and then decide on the most suitable option. I wish you the very best of

Several weeks ago, I purchased a neglected 2007 Epiphone Les Paul Standard from Guitar Center with the intention of restoring and updating it. My main goals were to give it a more classy look and get rid of the white pickup rings, 3-'s, and 's'. I saw that the white pickguard was missing, as well as the three-way switch plate. After doing all this, I went back and painted everything black, including the cavity cover plates. The white plastic output jack plate was replaced with a Gibson style chrome steel output jack plate. My old amber top hat control knobs were worn out. I had to order Gibson type replacements to make the CTS pots fit properly. All of the documents I made came out to my liking, and I even threw in a few Kluson style pointers for that bit more! My experience is that knobs not fitting correctly is the cause of a lot of bad reviews and complaints. Before ordering knobs, make sure your pots are in working order. If you are unsure if your stem and the spline match, measure it and/or count the splines.
During the same time period, I had one of the original Gibson amber knobs on my Les Paul Standard Goldtop break. It started out that I bought Gibson authentic knobs, however the quality and style were quite different from the ones I had. The Gibson gold knob would match the Gibson gold knob, I thought. Not at all. I was hesitant to order the Vinatge Forged Amber Knobs because the OEM was unable to provide quality matching part. Due to their low price, I decided to take a risk. Although the quality wasn't quite as good as the originals, they were a pretty close match to the originals. I am so glad I found these and thank you Vintage Forge for picking up the slack and supplying I love it.
This is not an amber color but rather a bronze one. However, the color and texture of the knobs are not amber, but metallic, not the organic qualities of amber that make it translucent. I am amending They do, in fact, appear to be dark amber after a little research online and viewing it under more normal lighting conditions. Due to my mistake, I am replacing my rating to a 5-star rating.
I like these knobs very much. This knob is of the same quality as Gibson branded knobs, if not better. They are not amber, but I wouldn't call them that. I would describe the color as bronze in tone. On the top view, it appears to be amberish, but from the side it appears goldish. I like the color of this still. A true amber, however, does not exist. I would give them a five-star rating if they had the right color.
To make them fit my USA Gibson Les Paul special, I had to enlarge the knob holes. Therefore, they did not appear directly compatible. I suspect it might have been the type of pot, but after working on them for a while, they fit. I like the way they look.
My LP Trad Pro is now playing these tracks. I love how they look and fit. Easily upgradeable at a very low cost. It is recommended.
A product that I really like is the color amber and the quality of the.
