In fact, yes. There is a satin poly finish on the entire neck.

Necks need to be accurately set and adjusted but the current system is good enough to ensure that a neck can be properly set and checked for Good finish -- just make sure the neck is firmly attached from the top. Do not slide it in lengthwise as the taper will make it more difficult than if you placed it.

There is still a lot of work to do

It was a terrible finish. It was necessary to work on the feet. I needed to fill the edges of the frets with wood filler. Nuts were also not flush with the head of the screw.
