It was of high quality and was an excellent price. headstock had broken in just such an accident that I decided to get a new one rather than glue it again. Because the break was not clean, much of the glue still oozed out. To begin with, I only paid $400 for the bass. My plan for this bass was not to spend over a lot of money for a Fender neck even though I upgraded the pickups to EMG. The neck would probably have been available used, but I may not have had the time or needed the bass so I couldn't search for too long. The price of this one was appealing to me, so I ordered it anyway. In less than a week, the neck arrived, and I was able to install it myself (my first time) . After a shim was applied, it was back in the same position as the original neck and a few bridge adjustments later, it was playing well. This neck is of a quality that I did not expect. The neck of this guitar is narrower than the original and the frets are also narrower, both of which help make it easier to play. Having received the neck, I am very happy with it and would recommend it to anyone in the market for a neck replacement.
It's worth every penny to buy these Mighty Mite necks. My experience with them has been outstanding, no problems or concerns that needed fixing after using them, perfect right out of the box every time. In particular, the neck heel, nut, and fretwork are flawless, and they are made of high quality woods at an excellent price. These necks are finished with a transparent satin finish that is almost indiscernible. As a lacquer and other finishes base, this provides a nice base, but will not seal in penetrating oils and stains, which will make a sticky mess on top and will I believe that it is polyethylene of some kind, since it does not seem to be affected by acetone No purposeful effort has ever been made to get rid of I forgot to mention that they play great, in case anyone is still wondering.
It's a great neck and a great.
A few weeks ago I purchased one of these for my Squier VM Jazzbass. on this product is actually better than it was on It only took me a few passes with 0000 steel wool to get the finish smooth as glass in the headstock and back of the neck. To every production bass I have bought I have been forced to do this.
