Questions & Answers

Will this loaded fender vintage 50s ri p bass body 57 precision bass honey blonde fit? ( 142930698515 )Is this the right size?

The maple fretboard on a Jaguar neck is something I have never seen. You can have a difficult time getting into your necks or they will slip right Be sure not to forget what you've read above. I encourage you to examine the pocket on your neck very carefully. As well as depth, there may be differences. It is always possible to send it back or try to get it to The result of which is harm to your neck or body. My playing ability makes it impossible for me to modify bass guitars to play them properly, so I destroy them by modifying them. As far as I am concerned, I see myself this way. Playing is what I would do if I were you. Put an end to neck switching. Whenever something goes wrong, something is wrong.

Are there any glossy or reflective finishes on the neck?

In short, yes it I like the way it looks and how it plays. Fender tuners are all you need. In the past, I bought some off the shelf ones and was disappointed with them.

Are there any pre-installed parts on the neck Did standard tuners have holes drilled into them?

In other words, yes.

You need to work hard on the nuts, but the quality is great! I would like to state first and foremost that this is NOT a Jaguar neck (as the title currently The neck of this instrument is that of a Jazz Bass
4/5

Let's get down to business Despite being sturdy and semi-rigid, the packaging was still fragile This is heavy-duty work. This was a double-decker The neck came in a box with some basic instructions for mounting it. A maple/rosewood neck was damaged in my 2011 MIM Jazz Bass, so I ordered this neck to replace it. It was time to mount the neck to the body now that it had been removed from the box. I was extremely happy to find a neck that fit so well In neither case did I have any problems with the neck seating or aligning the four mounting screws. With the truss rod in hand, we were ready to start setting the truss up. From the moment the product was opened, it provided immediate relief. During the installation of the truss rod, no adjustments were required. Now that the nut was out of the way, we could move on. A narrow starter slot is the only way to start the nut. IF you receive a slot at this time, it is NOT the final slot. If you decide you want to buy this neck, you have two choices 2) Take your assembled bass to a guitar technician to have the nut slotted and shaped or 3. 2) Purchase nut slot files, feeler gauges, and sandpaper in the correct size Become your own boss and do the work for Because this kind of work is something I have done before, I chose option #2. In case you are not knowledgeable about this type of work, please take it to a shop instead of spending time and frustration doing it yourself. As soon as the nut work was complete, I adjusted the string height at the bridge and made several adjustments for intonation. Having played the bass for a while, we now set it up for playing. I was blown away by how well the bass plays and sounds now! I definitely found this neck to be better than my previous one. I highly recommend this book!.

This fretless instrument was a great experience for me
5/5

A MIM Jazz Bass I've had for years was missing one of its fretless necks and I decided to change it out. Playing the fretless guitar is very enjoyable, but I decided it wasn't getting enough hours of play time. This neck swap has been After loading it up with strings, the neck dropped in perfectly with no shims required, and the truss rod only needed about a quarter turn. It was an excellent experience as I did a similar swap about six months ago for a Precision Bass which had to be re fretted.

The holes in the tuner are too large! The Jazz necks of Fender probably lead the pack among the dozens of necks I've used over the last few years
3/5

The necks of all of these people were problematic So far, it has been free. During the pre-war period It was too big of a hole to fit the tuner bushings, so they fell out right away. The same results were obtained by using Fender brand tuners and Hipshot tuners. To ensure that they would fit snugly, I wrapped the grooved portion of each bushing in copper insulating tape, since I needed it in a hurry. Is something going on.

The frets are nicely leveled and the neck is excellent
5/5

The frets are nicely leveled and the neck is excellent. My old beater guitar played like a dream, and now it needs nothing more than a good tune up.
