It was the one I bought. They're available for $54 on eBay. Hipshot is clearly selling them for the recommended price of 95.
It has a similar vibe. Both have the ability to achieve very low action levels. I'm not sure about the mounting. I'm aware that the 6 string hipshot requires three screws and the 7 string requires four, but that's it. Bottom line, this bridge has better intonation, tuning stability, and sustain than any other bridge of its kind, and it keeps the strings in check during double bends especially well. Because I love the one on my LTD so much, I'm about to buy another for my Chapman.
This bridge has three mounting holes rather than the six that a stock bullet mustang bridge has, but if you took it to a guitar tech, you could easily have proper holes drilled and the extra holes plugged. The limiting factor here would be whether or not the pole spacing on your pickups matches the string spacing on this bridge, so double-check that (I believe the mustang is a short-scale guitar, so things might not line up perfectly). That being said, if the spacings all work out, I'd highly recommend this bridge!

This appears to be a sturdy, dependable bridge, and prior to ordering, I read several reviews, some of which stated that it would fit a vintage bridge application; however, when the bridge arrived, it did not line up properly, so instead of altering the guitar body, I returned it, and after a week, I have yet to be refunded my funds, so we'll see how this goes.
This was purchased to replace my Kiesel guitar's chrome hipshot bridge. It works perfectly, and no adjustments are required.
My only criticism is that the included mounting screws have an excessively large head and will come into contact with the saddles. I bought the black model, so I'll have to look for black screws of the correct size elsewhere.
It was exactly what I expected.
The package contains everything it should. br>All screws are present and accounted for, with the exception of a 0. Hex key 050. On the bottom, some gold paint was sprayed (for conductivity?). br>It came well packaged and functions as expected.
I really like Hipshot's products, so this is a beautiful bridge. This was purchased for a strat that I was constructing, and it looks and performs admirably.
When palm muting, this bridge is very comfortable, and it was simple to set up. It slid into my Mexican hardtail stratocaster like a glove. In black, it's even better.
The bridge is of excellent quality, and it has improved the guitar on which it was installed.
