The A style appears to be the best option. The bridge has five holes, but you only use three of them.
It's black and has a satin finish, in my opinion. It has a very appealing appearance.

I have a Fender Deluxe Active Precision Bass that was made in Mexico. The bass came with a vintage bridge that needed to be replaced in order for it to sound distinctive. This Hipshot bridge more than lives up to its name. br>br>First and foremost, this bridge's installation is straightforward. It will install with three screws on any flat top bass with a 3 or 5 hole bridge configuration. The saddles may be stuck in place during shipping and will need to be gently broken free before they can be properly adjusted. It's not too bad. After I installed the bridge, I had my guitar tech perform a full setup, and it now sounds incredible and has improved the tone of my generic active P Bass. Because this bridge is essentially a solid brass hunk, it will give your instrument a slightly warmer tone when you use it. I have a 50-piece set that I play every night. This thing is great at keeping tension on 110 gauge strings. The sustain has also been improved as a result of the added tension. The bass is now more woody and warm, which is a general sound improvement. With my setup, the bass produces thunderous lows, solid mids, and punchy highs. br>br>Although $100 is a bit pricey, and you can get a Leo Quan Badass for that price, I would still recommend trying one of these. Perhaps you will enjoy it as much as I did.
