Great bridge, far superior to the previous Babicz flavor. It looks like it's made of metal, but it's quite heavy. The saddles are made of alloy that has been machined. The locking mechanism has been simplified. No more leading set-up if both sides are tightened when dialed. screw. For being a little pricey, I gave it four stars. I believe that this should be targeted at a lower price point in order to get the design out there. However, we are all aware that this equates to a reduction in quality.
I've bought Babicz bridges for my other basses and am very pleased with them. Quality, ease of installation, appearance, and set-up are all important factors to consider. Sustain is an important aspect of any stringed instrument, and I believe that the mass and surface area of this instrument puts it light years ahead of the competition in this area.
I have three basses with Babicz bridges that I absolutely adore. Installing and intonating the full contact is a breeze. and it has a lot of resonance!.
br>Amazing sustain and tone; the vibrations can be felt throughout the body.
