These chrome covers look fantastic on my Fender Road Worn 50s Precision. It has a strong 50s feel to it, and it sounds exactly like the original bass covers. Having said that, these are impractical, so I'll be removing them, though I'll keep them for those occasions when I want to dress up my bass. The pickup cover is simply an obstruction. It hides the sweet spot, where the majority of players pick or pluck. The bridge cover prevents you from muting while your palm is on or near the bridge, which is something a lot of players do. These are attractive, but they are inconvenient.
This is a genuine Fender product, not a knock-off. off. I installed it on a three-year-old computer. Fender American P-Bass is a year-old guitar. bass. I'm overjoyed and ecstatic. The included screws were the correct size, and the chrome on both pieces was flawless; you can't go wrong with this if you want to sex-up your life. your axe should be raised.
Bass! Now I'm in the mood for some disco! These were recently installed on my Mexi P- Bass, and it appears to be delicious! It did come with screws that were longer than the pickguard screws I ordered separately. I'm glad it did, because the one on the pickup cover's top didn't engage wood until about 1/2 inch down. I imagine the pickup route was longer than anticipated. I was also ecstatic to discover that they are MADE IN THE UNITED STATES!.
It was a perfect match. On my 3tsb pbass, it looks great.
They are of good quality and fit well.
works.
Genuine Fender parts that fit like a glove. The screws were well-packaged and did not leave any scratches.
I was really looking forward to this, but when I took it out of the box, there was a large bubble underneath the metal foil on the pickup cover. Anyway, I ended up putting it on my bass, and it looks great.
