Questions & Answers

Is there a way to combine this speacker with the celestion vintage 30? I'm using a 30 watt tube amp with a 1x12" cabinet. I'm working on a two-by-twelve-foot cab and need a m?

On the low end, I find that vintage 30 is a little lacking. My V30s are paired with a G-Shock. At 12:55 a.m., the ET- 65 is a fantastic age in and of itself. I have two of those in my Ceriatone OTS-equipped cab.

Speaker is well balanced
5/5

This is perfect for my application. In my opinion, the ET-II is the most interesting of the ET-II A Celestion G12H-65 has been replaced. In a 1x12" cab, there are 30 of them. Right out of the box, it's impressive. br>I use this cab with a couple of custom built 18w Marshall Style heads and a Tweedle Dee/Tweed Deluxe home built head. It's a step up from the G12H it replaced in my opinion. The G12H is also a good speaker, so that's a reflection of how much I like the ET-X. It's a well-balanced speaker with firm lows in my application, and it's not as boomy as the G12H can be at times. It has a slight peak in the middle, which I like, and the highs aren't shrill or ice pick bright, which I like. The high end is sweet but not overpowering. When compared to the G12M-II, the G12M-II has a higher In one of my other cabs, I have a set of 25's, as well as a limited-edition Celestion G12C- The ET- 25 is in a different cab. The sensitivity of the 65's is a little better, and the low end seems firmer. They're all outstanding. In a lot of ways, the ET-100 is a revolutionary product. The G12M and the 65 are very similar. G12C, a little brighter on top and a little less mid-focused, with firmer lows. I've never worked with a G12-based system before. I'm 65, so I can't compare, but I'd trade the four G12T-equipped vehicles for the four G12T-equipped vehicles. For the ET, I have 75's in my 4x12. On any given day, I'd rather be in the sixties than the fifties And, despite the fact that I don't find the ET-100 and the V30-100 to be at all similar, the ET-100 outperforms the V30-100 by a wide margin. To me, the 65's are far superior to the V30's. br>In general, this is a fantastic speaker for my needs. I have no reservations in recommending it. It's a great value and a great sounding speaker.

The Blues Jr
5/5

needs a new speaker, and this is it. I had the good fortune of having my amp modded by the man who took over for Bill M. a year or so ago Those modifications were impressive, but the addition of this speaker elevates the amp to new heights. I'm at a loss for words, but several YouTubers have recommended this speaker, and they are not mistaken. It completely eliminates the brittle treble spikes that are so common on Blues Jr. guitars. What a difference a speaker can make astounds me.

I found exactly what I was looking for
5/5

It adds a little more low mids that were lacking in the amp it was purchased for (Mono Price 15 watt) and it works very well with it. Once broken in, it should sound even better.

Blues Jr

will love it. The original speaker in my older Fender Blues Jr. was replaced by this speaker. It significantly improved the amp's overall sound. It smoothed out the overall tone while balancing the high end. What a fantastic purchase!.

This is a huge upgrade

In my Fender Champ 40, I replaced the stock speaker with this one. It's easy to spot the difference. It's a significant improvement.

I wish I had purchased a few of these years ago! It's a fantastic speaker that hasn't even been broken in
5/5

It was placed in a Pro Junior Mojotone cabinet right away. It's absolutely incredible! br>I have an original Rola Celestion 65 from the 1980s, and this WGS has a lot of the same features as mine. It's balanced, but there's still a bit of a cut to it. The unpleasant highs are rolled away by that lovely big dust cap. br>Strongly Recommend!.
