Questions & Answers

Does this speaker work well with a 2.50 watt amp IC board. I am making suitcase guitar amps and I am wondering if I need to find speakers with less power. ?

Ideally, I'd like to find something between a 10 and a 20 It is also important to consider how efficient the speaker is. A 30-day trial period is available In an application that requires a low wattage amp, a more efficient speaker may be preferred, but if the power is low, it would be preferable to use a lower efficiency speaker.

Is it possible to use this with 50 watt output at 4 ohm?

Yes, your amp will work as long as it is rated for 50 watts at 4 ohms. Due to the higher impedance (since it is an 8 ohm speaker), the output power will be significantly reduced.

Was this a SPACER 4x12 cabinet that Sambary used?

It's all how you wire it down to the recommended ohms for your amp that determines how powerful it will be. I recommend you replace 1 at a time if you have stock in your cabinet, leaving the wiring configured how it was originally. Look for + and - signs. The speakers and the match are indicated by symbols. Taking a back-up picture first is a good idea!

What do you think of these eminenceor JBL's? Does the title state that the model name is JBL?

It is the Eminence Legend GB128, which is a 12 inch speaker.

For harmonica players, this is fantastic
5/5

The difference between this amp speaker and the stock Celestion Seventy 80 that came with the amp is unbelievable. I've replaced a Monoprice 15 watt amp speaker with it and I'm amazed. It has a deeper bottom end and doesn't sound as shrill when I hit the higher notes anymore. Today I played for one hour and the sound quality with my original amp settings was great. Jams featuring jazz and blues will be taking place in the near future, and I have no doubt they will become better and better with time.
While the amp is no longer available, I can still use this with my Monoprice Stage Right amplifier. An option that can simply be bolted on. The harmonica player should greatly benefit from this book. Vincent -.

It is hard to believe how good this speaker sounds in an enclosed space when used alone
5/5

My custom 60's era Greenback reproductions I was using for this amplifier's debug and modification phase may have been damaged, so I bought this speaker to use for my new amplifier. A brief update It is one of the brightest speakers in the line. The Red White and Blues version is the softest, which is great for music from the 1960s and 1970s. It is probably Legend GB128 that stands out as the best balanced track from the group. Swamp Thing, Texas Heat, and Cannibis Rex fall more in the middle tone wise.

The Monoprice 15 watt tube amp works very well with this speaker
5/5

It is amazing how much this speaker changes things. I love the Monoprice tube amps, but I'm not entirely satisfied with the stock Celestion speakers because they are shrill on top and rather one dimensional in the middle. In terms of tone, the GB128 has a smooth, well-rounded tone that's well balanced with a wonderful bottom end that doesn't A more detailed definition of the middle range can be found here. The track breaks up rather abruptly with some gain, but overall it sounds tight and controlled, and it's only going to get better as it loosens. Blues, rock and jazz tones are all great with this pedal. As a bonus, the speaker is also louder than the stock one. There is much noise even at the lowest setting of 1 watt. Monoprice's Monoprice GB128 sounds really good with the voicing of the Monoprice amp, and is also very versatile for $75, this is a good deal.

As soon as it's been broken in, it's a good sounding speaker
4/5

I found the speaker to be very friendly and voiced more in a British style. Although breaking in the speaker is necessary to get its best sound, it needs to be done quickly. There are people who listen to music for hours at a time at a loud volume every day if you're one of them, stick it in and it will start to sound better in a few days. As long as you don't play it at the highest volume too often and aren't playing it blisteringly loud, then you can break it in for the best experience. set a frequency generator at about 28 Hz and used a 7-watt amp turned up about a third, put a pillow in front of the door, then stood on stool legs to hold the pillow there, closed the door, and walked away for the night. My return to the store revealed that the speaker sounded very different, more open and capable of reproducing a wider range of frequencies. When I first received the sound, I did not like it, but I was pleased with it after I converted it. My preference would be to have a speaker reproduce what an amplifier sounds like, in other words, to make it We do not want to colour I didn't really like it in that respect, so I stripped it of a star, but everyone has different tastes, and it is a good speaker nonetheless.

This is the first time I've played my Legend GB128 in so many years
5/5

Having owned numerous guitar speakers, let me begin by saying that I am familiar with them. My first gaming PC was a Legend GB1254 years ago - I sold it years later, wanting to find out what other options there were. In addition to several Eminence Red Coats (Governor, Magician, Private Jack), I have also tried Cannabis Rex, Texas Heat, Weber Blue Dog Alnico, Celestion Vintage 30, Celestion Gold, and a few more. My personal opinion is that the GB128 speaker is the most balanced, out of all of them. Midsection really appeals to me because they are fat and present without being overpowering or shrill They are more like a low mid than a high mid like one would find in The range of prices is just right, not too high, but not too low either. I love the clean sounds and the overdriven sounds. The speaker still The Eminence speaker frame could be painted and the target magnet could have a catchy sticker or name on it, so it could sell for about $80. The price of $100 is easily achievable. Previously, I thought that was what they did with the Private Jack, but I think this speaker is less expensive and better as well. It does not have any dope on the cone, which is exactly what might add to its magic. The only difference between the Private Jack and the Founder is the color and name. Perhaps the best speaker for this kind of setup is a low powered 1X12 amp where the speaker won't be pushed to its I have the speaker in a Deluxe Reverb, which is the perfect complement to the speaker. This is the first time I have felt inclined to use Amazon to review a product. If you are reading this, check out this speaker if you are interested. I'm not sure why Amazon lists this speaker as some kind of generic, but if you are interested in it,.
