There are two ways to connect a latching switch. Pressing one of the two sides rotates the inner tumbler, allowing its connection to one of two ways. I have only used one of them, but it works well and does exactly what I wanted it to do. The shoes are a little stiff at first, but since they are brand new, I'm sure that they will ease up with time. In my valvecaster tube overdrive pedal the overdrive is made up of either a 12AU7, a 12AX7 or anything between. I strongly recommend these for pedal repair or any type of scratch building.

The problem has never occurred with any other brand. In the past, I have always used Tayda, but recently decided to try these products because I needed something quick and should have been able to wait for their delivery. I used these in a number of applications and they really caused a lot of noise whenever they were turned We switched to a different brand 3pdt and the problem was fixed.

For added convenience, you can also add LED indicators on the third pole. The switches in this package are of superior quality. I have found them to be easy to work with and have not had any problems with them so far. Keep a careful eye on the contact, as it can burn the switch if you keep too much heat on it. In the past, I have done it on other ones, but I have not done it on these ones this time around, I am much more cautious It's a 5 out of 5. You're getting a really good deal on these!.

Originally purchased these switches so I could modify a vintage wah pedal so that it would be true bypass since turning it off destroyed the signal. In terms of quality, these are excellent switches, and they have plenty of lugs to the sides that were easy to solder to, so if I decide to modify any other pedals I own to achieve true bypass, I will have spare switches. A 5 out of 5.
