Questions & Answers
For the footswitch I bought last year, I have never opened the box. To save myself time, I got it now just in case I wanted one later. It was pretty hard to find a new footswitch when I got an amp a few years ago. When I decided it was time to get a footswitch I couldn't find one online. Finished opening the box, and found this information Because the 7 pin MIDI In socket of the amp supplies phantom power, a separate power source is not required for the amp's phantom operation. You will need an external power source if you are using a 5 pin MIDI cable. The port on the back of the device can be used A power supply external to the system should be used You can choose AC or DC 9 V With a voltage of 15 volts/minute.
Through the 7 pin MIDI In socket of the amp, phantom power is also provided. There is only one instance where you'll need external power if you want to use a 5-volt battery Instead, you should use the pin MIDI cable and you will need a wall wart. If you are using a hughes and kettner head, you can just plug the footswitch into the midi input on the back.
